I have a better idea. Stop paying cops over 100grand a year and use some of that money towards resources for the homeless. Cops get paid entirely too much. Invest more in teachers and education and we may have less homelessness.
@Robert Smith You can't blame teachers. It's the state that decides what is taught in school. There are standards set forth that are decided by state governments. It's the government that sets the bar. Speaking as a teacher, I fully believe that our students are capable of so much more, but if you're going to compare us with Europe, I think you're not seeing the entire picture. What country in Europe deals with all the issues we are facing in our own society? I teach in an inner city school. Every year since I've been teaching one of my students has lost a parent or sibling to gun violence. This year, of a class of 18 students 3 are homeless, one lost their father last week due to gun violence. Teachers in this country are no longer simply teaching students, they are also raising them. I can't let you bad mouth teachers. I give 200% to my students, as do all of my fellow teachers. I buy pencils, paper, food, and even clothing for many of my students. Most students don't have the privelege of having "studied in Europe". Most of my students have never been 100 miles north, south, east or west of where they were born. I am a product of public schools as are my siblings. My sister is an executive for one of the largest retailers in the country. My brother is a damn good attorney, and I am a damn good teacher. If your statement says anything, it says more about the disparity in meaningful experiences in the lives of our students than it does the perceived shortcomings of teachers. How one group can grow up traveling the world and the other one is caged within a socioeconomic prison and has commited no crime other than being born where they were born.

I'm not saying every homeless person is a victim of life because a lot of them do it to themselves but you've gotta put yourself in their situation and remove any thoughts you'd have now whilst living well. I also wonder if it's better to be homeless solo.. or as a community ? Maybe there are a good few that do keep it clean and the drug user types don't pitch in. Idk man, they need help if anything.

@Robert Smith it's not even fuckin close to 100k

Now California has a homeless bill of rights, which requires them access to safe housing. Problem is, none of these homeless people want the help. Most drug charges are simple misdemeanors now so instead of them being in jail they just stay on the streets without fear of being arrested. I was in Portugal and asked the cab driver where all the homeless people were...the city was clean and beautiful. He pointed at a large building on a hill in the distance, "Crazy house" he said.
At least they are all fucking sheltered.
They were warned.......now it's HAMMER TIME!!!!!
And the wackiness of California just keeps on rolling.
So true
Don't worry, we're saving the rest of the world!
Exactly 🙄🙄🙄
WTF is that thing smoking. Remember to get your Ccw
she has penis envy
Is it easy to get in sac again?
What was that "Thing" smoking in front of the Cop?
Zer?
Any normal person would have shoved that cigarette in the back of her throat and watched the smoke comes out her (?) ears ala The Three Stooges!
The protester should make a homeless shelter *PROBLEM SOLVED*
Take them on over to Nancy Pelosis' place. I'm sure she wont mind.
C B which house?
Lol
Want this to keep happening? Keep voting democrat.
Space Ghost amen
Most of them got 2 arms and legs, go work at mcdonalds or something
That how you would talk and treat a homeless veteran?
@@illdrumatik391 Quit with the "homeless veteran" crap. There are plenty of losers in the military, just like in civilian life. If they choose to live like this, that's their problem. The fact that they were employed by the military at one point doesn't give them the right to break laws.
@@1966johnnywayneRemember that next time you're waving the American flag hypocrite.
@@illdrumatik391 to a "veteran", yes, but somebody who actually served probably doesn't have all their limbs. It doesn't take much to get veteran status, and that's why the military is cracking down on enlistment. A few years ago the military quit it's GED program, and started a stronger zero tolerance policy for drug use. Do you believe the Marine who filed a lawsuit claiming he shouldn't be deployed because that's "not what he signed up for" should be considered a "veteran", because I don't.
Here is the problem. The government says free free free and rings the dinner bell. Why work when the liberal government gives everything away? This process does nothing more than enslave you.
This makes my heart hurt
Edit: I meant to say brain🤣🤣🤣
I understand that homeless people need shelter but at the same time if they don’t want to get pushed out they should try their best to keep the place clean. I went to Sacramento this weekend and there were a ton of homeless people in the corners of the streets. Then as I was trying to help out a homeless woman she gave me an attitude for the amount of money I gave her. It just made me feel bad about I wanted to give.
Teach her to fish. Give her one and your part of the problem.
Sometimes the homeless can be the Nastiest even when u are Reaching out to them...
Most of them have given up on themselves and life in general. No amount of anything given to them will change their current state of mind. Kind of hard to help someone who is not willing to help themselves.
Let's bring in more poverty illegals?? We have American citizens homeless!!! Let's help US citizens who are homeless first..
jimmy popcorn Don't underestimate the illegals, they want to work and they do. Within a couple of years they happen to own their own homes. I am not saying in CA, too expensive!
@@sparx180
ILLEGALS are CRIMINALS and nothing else?
Why don't you understand?
If they're willing from Day 1 to break that law what else are they willing to break when it comes to US laws?
You idiot and clueless suburban bimbo.
@@BigBossMan2000 kick out illegals and the homesless still wont work, there are plenty of entry lvl jobs that only require drug testing like amazon for example

All ILLEGALS need to be pushed out.

You're mad at these people for doing there job, because other people dont want to get a job!
A big round of applause for the law enforcement
I have one word for these people: "JOB."
You know most if these people have a record. First thing they check when you apply for a job. Others are disabled and others don't have a diploma. With that said, do you have a solution to their problem?
Yea, Ive known alot of people with criminal records, persons that are disabled, and people without a diploma... Working.. there are companies out there that are willing to give work as long as your Honest with them, come to work on time and do the job with no hangups. so reality.. they can work and the excuse of not being able to is bogus and pure laziness.
@@busacct5830 but not alot of people get that break. Only a few do. But I get some people are outright lazy and aren't contributing to a solution.
Its called a choice.. a person has the choice to improve their life or sit on their behind... there are people in goverments, organizations and business willing to assist.. as long as the person they are helping is willing to help themselves.. its hard and long. but the end result is a better life.
Instead of standing on a city block go get a job.
You can be homeless but you’re being removed because of all the trash you leave on the ground. I’d remove you as well if you made my city look like a dump as well.
That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be treating everyone with dignity.
MARCUS KOHL Nice that you outlined literally the .001% of extreme homeless cases.
Now let’s look at the reality. Most aren’t homeless because of the reasons you listed. No that goes to drug use and alcohol abuse. Number one cause is substance abuse. If my great grandparents can go from having $10 in their pocket getting off the boat in New York to having the go to performance engineering company in the Midwest? There is no reason someone else can’t do 1/8th that well.
Let’s not make excuses and let’s start addressing the problems.
That place is a total dump, maybe the residents would not say anything is they would keep the place clean.
why can't the homeless live in an area without trashing and destroying it ?
Take our tax dollars from illegal immigration and put it to use helping the American homeless.
THANK GOD FOR THE ONE REASONABLE LADY SAYING THEY ARE JUST SQUATTING.
You know why I have a place to live? Because I get up every morning and go to work
THANK YOU!!!
Take them into your home if you’re worried about it.
You voted for this, quit complaining!
Shill Lawyer: "...because they've been kicked out of other places."
Me: Why would they be kicked out of other places?
How do you "Evict" a homeless person???? You cant be homeless and be evicted.....
Can't evict a homeless person, what a ridiculous statement, if you noticed they did.
they're just freeloaders
democrats just wanting a handout
@@michaelofsc6021 You have to have a home, to be evicted from....I guess you didnt do well in school. That is like saying the mother of the orphan is here.
@@EternallyGod ....
Since they illegally made the park their home, the city had to go before a judge and to have them evicted. How do you think the cities get court orders to evict these people from their encampments, legally?
@@michaelofsc6021 You said it when you said " their home " You just proved that i am right.
I was homeless once. I didn't do drugs or drink. I was also a veteran that served in the US Army for 12 years. I just had one of those "everything went wrong" year and lost my home. I had no family or friends that could help me, so I ended up on the streets. It was hard and I just couldn't find work. So I can understand not having nowhere to go, what I don't understand is these people are drug addicts and want to live this way.
Hope youre doing better now 🙏
