Hello my friend, congratulations for your video and your sharing. I am doing an assembly almost similar to yours on an H22A8 with : *Mahle MS PowerPak Gold Series Forged Pistons Set for Stock Sleeves H22 87.00mm Bore 90.0mm Stroke 143mm Rod 22mm Pin 9.8cc 12.0:1 *305-05-5205 Skunk2 Pro Cams Stage 2 *304-05-5220 Skunk2 PRO-SERIES Adjustable CAM GEARS * F6023-08 Ferrea 6000 Series Exhaust Valve 30 STD * F6024-08 Ferrea 6000 Series Intake Valve 35mm Sorry for my English, I'm from Reunion Island, I have two questions please: 1- where do you recommend that I buy the set of tools that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for the operation you describe in the video? 2- For the test with clay, do you tighten the cylinder head with the recommended torque or just by hand? If I use an old head gasket with the same thickness is it ok? Thanks for your return!
Nice project you have there! The degree kit can be found in racespec the website… on the clay test good question I use a used gasket so the compressed thickness is good and torque to atleast 50ft is safe u can go oem it’s fine too
@@SRDmotorsports Thank you for your answer! I still have lots of other questions... First I bought a skunk 2 intake manifold with a skunk 2 throttle body diameter 74 mm, what do you advise me to install as a cold air intake kit, everything I have seen so far now seems small to me.
@@SRDmotorsports Ok!! I finally chose to order a 76mm diameter tube. For the Vtec soenoid and its support, do you reassemble the original one or do you mount something else?
@@SRDmotorsports he’s got skunk 2 cam gears not sure what kind also got Brian Crower Dual Valve spring and retainers and he’s gonna do a turbo full built head and fully built bottom end
Thanks brother! I hope it’s even better than the previous cam degree video I made I keep realizing bits and pieces I can add to make it more understandable ftw
Shipping would cost way too much since we are in the Philippines but shop page has the usual price list of the basic work we do… You can check on the guys at Prodigy in Minnesota for possible builds I know them and they are good guys

@@sebastiengaudens5986 true for a 74mm that’s almost 3in so I think a 3in intake will be fine still :)

Might show this to my buddy who’s building his H22a4 on his 98 Prelude

i would like more about degreeing video
Will work on providing more of that soon 😎
as usual.... very informative...
Oh thank you man
I try to improve each video cuz after I check it the next day I always realize I could “add” this to explain “this” and “that” 😂
How much would you guys charge for a build like this i have the h22a? I know it would be built right

Did this motor have vtec only or did you lock the cylinder 1 rockers to vtec? Using ball bearing etc?
Yes it’s a “given” checking v2v , p2v and degreeing you lock vtec always did it this way
Cuz u degree the vtec lobes, u check p2v when in vtec
Bro h22a stroker can use to bseries?
No diff bearing placement and many other different things to make it work
@@SRDmotorsports thanks bro👍🏻
No prob
