KomradTruck is an absolute beast. Whenever you joined a multiplayer and you saw a system "Animal Planet HD", you knew that your game was already over. Maybe it's because I've watched so much of The Mighty Boosh lately, but I just feel like your leader should be named Jacques Le Cube.
It's a shame really that Habs are the only way to get research districts early, allowing you to double up on labs and districts. If not, you could get a similar effect by going planet sculptors with the GaiA world start for the incredible bonuses you get from the two. Knights is another good option but suffers from the fact that you cannot be a hive-type empire. Interestingly enough, though, they can take advantage of planet sculptors, making the hab even stronger if you use it for science alone with your main world and if u buff the home world with the quest getting a pretty strong resource world that can put out a lot of tech thanks to the new decision.
@TrentLayell It was a 1 planet build by Grim Kleaper. He used public relations specialist for the diplomacy bonuses and criminal background to both destroy everyone else militarily and make massive amounts of money. He also took arc welders which covered his mineral and alloy needs and just bought the rest of the stuff he needed. That wasn't a lot though because he went virtual and cosmogenesis, having a 175% bonus on all output and fallen empire buildings. The most important strategy however was favours and diplomacy. He managed to get 12 envoys which provided him with almost instantaneous favours and the base relations with every empire were so good that with some improving, it allowed him to become the subject of someone else and steal them of like 50% research.
I really like this blind playthrough of builds. I feel like I follow builds from stellaris youtubers and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I hope you continue doing these builds from the perspective of us bumbling idiots 😅!
While not as fast, I had a really enjoyable game with the arc furnace origin, the paper clip and the astro mining bay civics. Homeworld became a generator world, the consumer good events just let you blaze through unity traditions. Never built a single mining district. Took mastery of nature and a wet planet to get hydrocentric to make my planets bigger and not have to really worry about RNG leaving me with no generator districts.
Hey, would you look at that? Turns out I'm not the only one that gets arc furnaces as early as I can! Whenever I find a molten planet with my arc furnace tech, I INMEDIATLY start building the arc furnace. Because that is the best thing you can do with molten planets besides colonizing them. (I modded the game to colonize gas giants, barren planets, cold barren planets, molten planets, frozen planets, asteroids and icy asteroids btw)
I guess I accidentally die this start in my current playthrough. I just wanted to play Voiddwellers with a Tech focus but now I am just after my first contact with another empire and already have an arc furnace
I wish when you clicked build dyson swarm or arc furnace your top 3 systems were highlighted so you know straight away where to build the most efficient one instead of clicking through each system and hazarding an educated guess. Unless it already exists and I'm just a dumbass and not seeing it. Cause the difference can literally be like 100 alloys from a good to bad system.
Hey new to Stellaris as I strictly play on Console. Is this build replicatable on Console or is this a PC exclusive build? I've been informed Consoles usually behind on updates when it comes to things like this.

My current build is similar to this, but i wanted nanites so astro-mining bots + early arc furnaces meant i literally never employed any miners

Real ones know that the best build is megacorp Arc Welders. Long live the Cuban empire.
What does that build look like?

You should do more videos like this where you go over good builds post-machine age/cosmic storms/grand archive dlc

Unfortunately, the MMM now bans sol, deneb, etc as starting system.

1:56 You sir, are not.
I use a very similar build but using assimilator instead.
And Arc origin tho
Wait, I'm confused, doesn't building habitat modules get rid of the starbase deposits on planets?
Love your videos ❤

The Kizzie thumbnail you show at the beginning of the video is for a different one than you have linked. Which one is correct?
The link!

I’m not 100%, not sure if console has gotten arc furnaces yet?
