- Taking a pair of scissors to Rotala green in our big rock Iwagumi aquascape.
The undergrowth is quite messy and undesirable, but it’s surprising how short in time it bounces back. Fresh new growth should appear within a matter of weeks 😊
Other jobs in this video include repositioning smaller rocks, and uprooting plants where we don’t want them to grow.
Always follow this kind of maintenance with a large water change.

Crazy that the shrimp could tolerate that large of a water change. Flow must've been hella slow.
