So grateful to you guys for this video. Whilst Renault have a lot to answer for (compare to the Scenic II) this video was a life saver. 32 year old with no mechanic experience finished the job in 25 minutes. Not before time with this 30c+ heat wave...
I have the grand scenic mark 3 2011 model, right hand drive, so I looked at doing this job....clutch pedal etc. in the way, looked much too difficult, just for a filter change, so it didn't get done....If its a left hand drive, looks so much easier.
Thank you for the feedback! The video is informative and shows only the general principles of the constitution and the operation of the car and it is in no way to be taken as a manual for repair and maintenance. Best Regards, Autodoc
He ya hacı altta minnak bir kapak var. O kapağı sökün içinde filtre gözüküyor zaten. Çıkartırken yönüne dikkat edin taktığınızın yönü de aynı olması gerekiyor sadece.
Just to make everyone aware that changing the pollen filter is alot easier on a left hand drive version, than the UK right hand model. On the UK model the Clutch Pedal has to be removed to gain access to it. So it's congratulations to the idiot designer at Renault who came up with idea. What I do know is that virtually no mechanic at a Renault dealer will replace this during a service, and yet you will be paying for it
Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, we can not definitely say whether we will have such a video on our channel but we will take your wish into account. please stay tuned with us for more interesting upcoming videos. Best Regards, Autodoc Team!
I have a mice problem on my scenic 2015. Can anyone point me to where the fresh cabin air INTAKE is? I suspected it to be under the windshiled somewhere but cannot find it.

Oh yeah those guys have a great sense of humour. On my wife's Renault Modus, you have to remove the front bumper to replace the headlight bulb!! I'm hoping this madness didn't extend to the Scenic. Haven't had to change the bulb yet.
Scenic 2010 lid of the pollen filter could have been put back into place without dismantling the glove I think you can also replace the pollen filter without removing the glove box
Richard Forsling You must hate it alright. Cabin filter should be a 5 minute job tops. In this car, all filters seem to be just about impossible to reach without wasting all of your day trying not to break the stupid frail plastic parts in it.
Why take out the entire glove compartment??? PLEASE tell me, you don't actually do this. It is PERFECTLY possible to change the pollen filter on this car without doing any of that. Just pull away the side panel under the glove compartment (this is even optional with some experience), unmount the plastic tube at the bottom. Remove pollen filter cover, remove pollen filter. Replace filter and cover. Fit plastic tube again. Replace side panel. Drive safely! Will take 5-10 minutes for someone who has never done this before - MUCH less the second time you try it. NO TOOLS NO scratches in the glove compartment or on the arirbag side panel. It is an uncomfortable job as you have to kneel outside the car and kind of lie down in the passenger side foot well, but move the seat right back and it isn't a problem. You don't even have to be a yoga-expert to do this. Yes, it is much easier to change the filter after removing the glove compartment, but it takes most people SO much longer to do this. And if your mechanic charges you 1/2 an hour more because of this procedure, get another one! (PS: Why does autodoc.co.UK show this on a left-hand drive Renault?)
Thanks for the valuable recommendation, this information will be useful for us and our viewers. The replacement sequence for this filter for the left wheel and for the right is the same. Best Regards, Autodoc team.
@@PureLeeful And taking the clutch pedal off puts the very fragile clutch position sensor plastic actuating arm at risk of breakage, which it's intentionally designed to do, with recesses in the moulding right at the weakest point. £91 for a replacement.
I didn't realise changing the pollen filter was so easy and convenient "well done Renault " I thinking of doing mine in another 10 or 15 years

Hi.. Does the above instructions apply to right hand or left hand drive cars.? Thanks
What a nightmare of a job
Renault XD

Clutch pedal off and it's still a complete ball ache!
