As someone who has owned the #1, #2 and now the #5's, These boots have been the best built by far. They do take a long time to break in. If you have high arches you will need to be patient. Once broken in they truly are great. Need to get the King ropers ostrich in #1s
The No.5 has a similar instep to the No.2. The only difference is that the No.5 has slightly less room in the toe box! Give us a call at 512-866-7222 if you have any more questions!
One of the most overlooked part of boot ownership is Boot Trees! I use them on every pair of boots and immidately after wearing them. My 10 year old boots STILL look new with barely any noticeable creases.
@Chisos I think y'all have great looking boots and I'm thinking of getting my first pair, but I'm hearing a lot about the shank squeaking. Maybe when word of that disappears, I'll getting a pair.
I look forward to breaking in my #2's ....Will what hat are you wearing in this video, looks awesome as well,,,,,and would go great with my black #2 boots hahah
I came here to ask about Will’s hat, but I see rumor has it it’s a prototype… Here’s hoping that prototype makes it to production soon. I’ve got a couple of pairs of Chisos that would look great with it!
All well and really good…you have me sold, but I just wish you stocked my size (10 EE). Pretty common size I think? I am on the notification list, just hope it doesn’t take long.
Just bought my first ever pair of cowboy boots. My wife bought me a pair of Ariat Sport Pardner boots as a gift and I was delighted with them. They seem to be the correct size of that I have no doubt. They are currently tight across the instep but loosening off now but I do have a high instep so that’s no issue. Everything is snug but comfortable at the toe. My question is about heel slippage. These boots are only 2-3 days old at this point with maybe 2-3 hours of wear each of those days. Noticing some heel slip certainly not major but enough for me to notice and have a question about especially being a cowboy boot rookie. Is this normal for a boot fit? Does it stay? Does it subside once the boot has fully broken in? Definitely feel a size down would absolutely not fit and a size up would be too loose. Hope anyone can shed some light for me. Cheers from Scotland 🏴 👍🏼
A half inch of heel slip is normal when you're first breaking in Cowboy Boots! If the heel slip persists, check out a little product called a Heel Pad! It's a pad that adheres to the inner heel of the boot!
We do very minimal care on our roughout. Let it take on the patina of dirt and use. Brush it every once in awhile. Condition the heel stack, welt, and soles ever four months or so.
says you. I was going to say the same thing about Chisos. Don't see Chisos ever having the following and desirability of Luchesse. But Chisos are a great boot. I'll give you that. Wear what you like. Can't go wrong.
@@volsboy672 that’s only because luchesse has been around since forever and built a great name for themselves back then but their quality has dropped quite abit since then.
The more you wear them the better they feel .
IMO the best boot on the market. Hands down !!! 🤠🇺🇸
Thank you Tom!!
IM a city boy from Detroit and I have worn nothing but boots since I was 14 years old, I am now 55. I love them❤
Howdy!
I grew up in the metro Detroit area in Rochester Hills! Good to see another Michigander in boots! Go Lions!

Hi, Did you go for same size in all three models?
They all run very true to size.
Would you say the no.5 had tighter instep then the no.2? @@SuperStar-nz5xy

That's how it's done!
I'm beyond excited to support this company, their values, and everything that goes along with it. I have to ask though... What hat does Will wear??
rumor has it, it's a prototype 🤔
@@ChisosI can only imagine how nice a Chisos hat would be if that little birdie ever met a beaver and talked him out of some of his fur.

We've solved the shank squeaking problem! The only thing you'll hear is the satisfying click of the heel as you saunter through town.
Great video. Love the roughout
Thank you!

Rumor has it... that hat is a prototype 🤔
Nicely made review, so sweet.
Does the rough out blood come in a toe or round toe or just the snip shown here ?
We have a roughout round toe, square toe, and roper as well!

Keep your eyes peeled!
Should I get black or brown if I wear khakis a lot and sometimes some jeans
I think brown is the most versatile, personally
So happy with my Ostrich King Ropers!!! Will probably pick up a pair of rough outs, once my size is back in stock.

We've got No. 1's in stock... and No. 2's coming this week!

How do you care for a rough out leather? Might pick up that rough put boot

For about the same money, I'll stick with my Lucchese's. Chisos are a great boot as well though
chisos are much better built than luchesses are. luchesses are very overpriced for what you get

Luchesse makes a wonderful boot but we're proud to be a small company that isn't owned by a giant corporation!
