Fair enough! I was a bit reckless in this one. I didn't really need to go down the stairs, could have just kept backing up, and you can kill most of them with either Spike Growth or Wall of Fire and Black Hole. Also I'd recommend having Necrotic resistance. I would do it again on future runs though for Viconia's shield.
@@shadowvorslaughtered them today taking your advice! I was nervous because ive been clearing game with spirit guardians, rad orb, reverb gear and it made me feel like I forgot how to do anything else. I respecced into a Great Value Arcane Archer: 4BM Fighter, 6Sword Bard, 1 wizard for scribe. (I just wanted a bunch of cool d8 arrow moves) My gear was a mess but i did have titanstring with 27str juice and that was plenty. I dont even think i got hit running up the stairs, blackhole, exotic arrows galore. Glad I watched your video to learn!
Armour of Persistent: permanent Blade Ward and Resistance (sold by Damon in Act3) Boots of Persistence: permanent Freedom of Movement and Longstrider Bless: Stony & Boney at the circus will sell you a statue of your character for 5000 gold, you get permanent Bless for that character after resting. I often get all these right at the start of Act3, doing the Lorrikan and the Wizard Tower and Counting House if short on gold.
This fight and Raphael‘s are just terrifying to me on honor mode. And unlike Raphael‘s, it doesn’t seem like I should/could skip this one as a Shadowheart origin. I’m still only in late act 1 please send help.
It wasn’t too bad. I actually talked to her. I made sure I would go first. I misty step back to the door and did wall of fire down the stairs. As they came up I used arrows of many. Only problem was viconia and her Santuary, which was a pain. I used AOE scrolls as she came up the stairs. I was a tavern brawler monk without secondary worm powers so I think any class can do it. Good luck.
I’ve enjoyed your videos. Thanks for posting.
I should use survival instinct more. Gotta test if all these death wards stack.
it literally saved my run against the inquisitor
After watching this video, my biggest takeaway is that Im not going to the House of Grief, if I even make it this far 😅

Freedom of movement, resistance, blade ward, bless - where are all these coming from?

Anyone happen to know the name of the song that plays during this fight? Been looking all over, it’s my favorite battle song.
Unsure of the track name, is it this one? ua-cam.com/video/FvIurj6F46w/v-deo.html
You should have closed the door so they cannot use ranged attacks on you
You can use black hole more than once in a fight? Thought it was 1x per rest for some reason
Technically you were right, but it works like Call Lightning where you get 5 turns to keep using it. It's not concentration thankfully.
