Ingredients
Cocoa powder 1/4 cup (25 gram)
Sugar 1/2 cup (100 gram)
Milk 1/2 liter (500 ml)
Vanilla essence 1tsp (5 ml)
Whipping cream 1 cup (250 ml)

I have tried with some twists I added 1/4 cup sugar instead of 1/2 cup and I also added dark chocolate it came out soooo good ❤️
Banana slices are good in this, too or other fruits that you like 😋
at what stage did you add the dark chocolate, and how much?
When the coco powder mixture is boiled and almost ready add dark chocolate stirr it then switch off the flame just keep stirring it will melt and I think one cup of dark chocolate chunks will be enough.

Just made this, and it was absolutely fantastic. I reduced the sugar from 1/2 cup to 1/3rd cup, AND I added a tablespoon of coffee to the chocolate mixture. The result was a flavor profile that was a little less sweet, and a touch more complex. My only error was that I needed to boil the chocolate mixture about 3-4 minutes longer to end up with a thicker final product, but it was still amazing. Thank you!

Awesome. Been looking for an eggless chocolate mousse but usually people just fold whipped cream into melted chocolate or pudding and call it done. This version is going to provide a texture closer to classic chocolate mouse, maybe even better.

I mean... boiling cocoa powder + milk and sugar is basically melted chocolate so it's kinda the same thing. xD

You have just as much work boiling cocoa as melting chocolate, and you can definetely taste the difference using chokolate, and the reason you add eggs - especially the eggwhites, is to make it fluffy 😊

yes i use it as frosting but i use the recipe by spice bangla and they just take 200g of dark chocolate and mix 100 ml cream in it then they beat 300ml cream and beat them both together. this look good but im not sure if i can get the right consistency cuz i cant mess u, this cake will be for my cousin and i need more amount of mousse so can you tell me how much amount this is.

Mixing milk and sugar and boiling it until it's semisolid is how condensed milk is made. So why not just mix the cocoa in condensed milk ⁉️

Yumm 😋 I haven't made homemade fudge in years, but watching the 1st half reminded me of making chocolate fudge or adding a little peanut butter at the end to make chocolate peanut butter fudge 😋 I'd just cook & stir a little longer, my husband and children loved it 👍❤️ For anyone who hasn't made homemade chocolate sauce, fudge, taffy etc. Luckily I grew up with a mother and grandmother, who I learned how to make Wonderful desserts 🍨 🥧 🍦 🍡 The hardest part to learn is how very important the constant stirring takes for perfection 🥰 The excellent results are worth all of that stirring 🍨 Delicious and Thank you

what coco powder did you use? Tried making this and the consistency they got when boiling did not end up happening for me.
@@ellagrace4888 i used dutch processed cocoa powder. But you should cook it for a long time.
