The laws are different in every state. For motorcycles, in Florida, anyone under the age of 21 has to wear a helmet. eBikes and bicycles are classified the same, different laws. I believe it's mandatory for 16 year old and under. I definitely need a helmet!!! Very irresponsible for me not to have one!!
I'm up in the air about them. The throttle scares me. I kept forgetting to take it off pedal assist. And then I would walk the bike up the driveway and hit the throttle by accident. Not good if I wanna injure my mom. LOL!

Aw, thank you!!! I always get flack for not reading the instructions. I read the instructions and no where does it tell you where that stupid button is. eBikes are heavy and I'm not sure how much I'll take it with me. I'll take the scooter with me to shorter trips and meetups. It's perfect for that 2am bathroom run. LOL. Yeah, like I'm getting out of my van at 2am. Scooter is lighter and cuter.
Don’t like e bikes , I keep in shape from using man power ! I ride daily at age 59 and don’t intend to stop anytime soon . Good for you if that’s your thing !
Not my thing. Since getting psoriatic arthritis, I can't walk around the block without hurting. I take my scooter to the mail box. I did use the pedals, with no electrical assist and it was really hard. This eBike was intended for my mom, but the throttle is scary for her. She's 81. I'm going back to swimming.
How do you plan to get this 44 lb bike in and out of the van 🤔 take the battery out of the bike when lifting , it will lighten the load . I’m dealing with the same issue , I look forward to your solution .🙏💕
I know. It's gonna be an issue. Someone suggested I take the battery out. I haven't tried it yet. My luck I won't be able to get it back in. I would love to carry it on the back of the van, but I know it would get stolen. For now, I'll put it on a blanket and put it on my bed.
Very cool! It looks easy to ride, and has nice fat tires to absorb bumps! Maybe show what it looks like when it is in the storage mode like when you fold it up to put in the van. Take care thru the storms!!!!!

I would be interested in e-bikes, but with them being so heavy, do I want too keep lifting it in and out of my vehicle.
Of course not. You need a ramp and then you ride it up on the ramp, just like a motorcycle - right into the RV/VAN. LOL!
