Both rear hoses need to go out the window. 1 draws air in to cool the unit, and the other expels that same air.

They work good for me. I stand outside of my vehicle to avoid drippings. Even more so because I add extra water inside my cap. I forgot to bring some on my trip. Darn! Entertaining video,😃.

When I lived in the UK, ACs weren't as popular as they are now. I got a "portable" AC Unit, and while it was pretty good, it didnt move the air around the room as well as I think it should have. So, I set up a rotating fan in front of it that made it a KICK AZZ system! Maybe you can try that. EDIT: I also made a wood cut out for the window. I lived is a very unique building which had very non-standard windows. The wood had enough weight I could rest the window on it and use soft foam (insulation) to add additional hole filling on the outside of the hose (I hope I explained that well).

I am a retired nurse and I can wash my whole body and shampoo my hair in my van using a wash pan. I have bath wipes , shampoo caps and rinse free body wash and shampoo . Just so many options.

I have used those shower caps before and the second day my hair was😊 oily

as a cna..we use the shower caps on our bed bound patients..ours actually get warm as you massage it...there very handy

Had to use the “shower cap” method when I was in the hospital 2+ years ago & couldn’t shower. Was surprised how well it worked, as well as the hospital version of the scrubzz sheets. (Truck stop showers can run $18). Also, I look for community pools, or the YMCA usually has a senior day rate of $5-11 (tends to be way cheaper than the chain truck stop).

Great video! Love how honest and "down to earth" you are. I do have to mention that, for medical reasons, some of those products probably wouldn't be good for me to use. I think I would need to pay for shower facilities. Still cheaper than paying for a holtel! Also, you have gorgeous hair...What I wouldn't give for that hair! 😊

I watched your video but I gotta admit I was kind of surprised that you were so concerned about your armpits yet you took five day old shorts that had five days of body fluid, and God only knows how many farts in them and wiped your hair. That made me cringe. You definitely need to join planet fitness and get some good shampoo and conditioner and get that wild hair under control. I’m sure now it stinks after having them nasty shorts on it. Somethings you just can’t unsee. You really need to invest in at least one towel. It seems very odd that you don’t have a towel. Or something clean to wipe your hair with. Personally if I wore shorts for five days I would’ve burned them suckers. You’re always near water why don’t you just take a dip in the water. Fish don’t use soap, so probably you could clean yourself without it. This is solely just my personal opinion. It seems like alot Of people that live in their car, slowly forget their personal hygiene and their appearance that other people are seeing.

Why not get a planter sprayer, attach a kitchen sprayedr to it, heat your water for it, or place the gallon bottle out in the sun to warm up, and hang a tarp over the back of your van door and take a shower. There are videos on how to do or make one. I love mine and is handy when I want it. Safe travels!!

Ok seriously there are lots of places where you can take a shower while on the road. Local YMCA, rec centers, state parks (just pay for a day pass), etc. I would definitely spend some time to find a place! What you’re doing looks like no fun at all. You’re making it harder than it has to be. You crack me up! Don’t make it more difficult than it has to be. Love you girl!

Thank you Kym, for keeping it honest and keeping it real. I haven't had access to a shower in 3 years, I use the bathroom sink, a washcloth and soap and I live in a house. The only thing that worries me a little about camping is the potty thing. I keep watching videos to learn about options and since so many women can stomach it, I guess I'd learn to also.
