You get to be very careful buying Realstate
Why? Kenya is not somali.
What's up my guy J Coop. What's the yearly tax on a place like this?
I am assuming that varies based on the area you are in.
No yearly taxes for homes in Africa.
You own them outright, unlike in the US where you keep paying taxes for a home you own.
I can't speak on the taxes as I'm just showing the airbnb as an option. But, I would suggest you assumption is pretty close. 👍🏾
$1800 a month? Dream on. What i could get in Egypt for that would be mind-blowing.
In America, my mortgage plus HOA fee. I was at a very low interest rate level. 😅
location of the place and that price is for airbnb
Location matters we have very cheap House
Nice Apt, but why is the refrigerator so small?
European appliances
That is the size the owner decided to go with.
@ 1:09. Why the fridges in Africa always seem to be so SMALL & SHORT like that?
Fridges are sold in all sizes.
The apartment seller just chose a small one for the small show house.
Refrigerators are smaller basically everywhere all around the world with the exception of North America. Like in in Asian countries a typical fridge and an American kitchen is a type of fridge size that will be used in restaurants and businesses lol
Because we eat fresh organic foods bought or harvested daily.
The fridges vary in sizes. Depends on where you stay and your preference.
Mostly we don't store food in fridge we eat fresh from markets nearby, and also temperature in Nairobi things don't need alot of refrigeration
💪🏿💪🏿
💯
How’s the fishing there??
Mt. Kenya park has trout fishing.
Maybe change it to 100, 000 shillings so it doesn't confuse some people.
The property cost $92k USD to own. Plus taxes that's $100k USD. Nothing confusing. 👍🏾
@COOPSCORNER Ohh got it, thought that was the monthly payment in kenyan shillings
Coop 100,000 dollars? Buying or monthly rent?
I think he meant shillings
To buy
That price is to own the property.
Can a tourist lease a regular apartment for just a month?
Yes
Why are you wearing a jacket? I thought Africa is warm...just asking...is that a two bedroom and is that price in KSH or USD
Nairobi is located at a high altitude of 1700 metres and tends to be a bit cold, especially in the evening.
Interestingly, as you approach the equator north of Nairobi, you get to the snow-covered Mount Kenya.
Contrary to popular thinking, not everywhere in Africa is hot.
Africa is a CONTINENT (2nd largest in the world) climates vary. Two bedroom. $USD pricing.
best response..expecting florida weather in minnesota..@@COOPSCORNER
Not worth it. Small, and that kitchen is beat. No major cooking is going on in there, no counter space. The arrangement with the refrigerator in the dining room is crazy. It's very small too. That living room is tight.
We are living the life in Egypt based on what I see there. They go extra hard on luxury interiors, and I'm paying well under America.😅
Coop, you're positioned right for an American.. The United Nations is moving to Nairobi among other people of many nations.. Jamaica and Kenya are the hot spots 🔥 You are ahead of the curve ❤
The United Nations Africa headquarters has been in Nairobi since 1996.

Hey I am scared of buying an apartment in Nairobi Hoo or what is the regulation to buy a house or apartment
Why? Its very simple
Thanks, I follow u seen all the videos you doing a good job. You let ppl know about Africa.
Where do you currently stay and don’t be scared I’m sure you would be fine
Hey. It's usually an easy process. The realtor and the banks will walk you through the process and all will be smooth
Scared money don't make no 💵
So this place is $100k?
$92k USD specifically to own the property.
NEVER
Explain?
Why did they call it siaya its connotes tribal I think they should change the name
You're the tribal one for bringing that up. As far as am concerned, Siaya is a town in Kenya and the property owner has all the rights to name it whatever they want. If you don't like it, take a walk.
@@warengine3706 That's why its half empty all the time I would rather change the name than lose business

Pride African from Jamaica .Why do you have to come up with that type of divisiveness approach? If you want to buy in Kenya, you are going to have to pay in Kenyan price, not South Africa.
You got to be ver very careful buying any Realstate in Kenya make sure you found great lawyer to dig down anything attach with that property it’s big scam in Kenya just giving you heads up
Umelipwa kuharibia Kenya jina?
Thank you for the heads up
Everywhere in the world you will need a lawyer before buying property....most of people like you live in sorry places just here yapping for nothing
@@salkanini6277It is not a matter he was paying to destroy Kenya. The fact is there are a lot of bad property transactions in Kenya. I listen to the land commission representative of Kenya. He also said you have to be careful when you buy property in Kenya.
