Kenya has good Universities. People without degrees can save some money studying in Kenya and East Africa. They will be charged International Student fees.
Very true. Actually, public universities such as the University of Nairobi (which is the best ranked) charge international students exactly the same fees as locals. The only difference is that they have to pay in US Dollars. Hey, we need 'em dollars for now! There is also a private American university known as United States International University-Africa (USIU) which is accredited in the US and Kenya. This means that its degrees are accepted as American degrees in the US. Y Above all, it is important to note that the fees charged in both public and private universities are only a fraction of what American universities charge. If interested, just google their websites.
I am Kenyan born, raised and living in Nairobi and you should feel welcome here simply because you are HOME! Welcome home my brother. Is nothing but LOVE here for black America. In America, you are a black man but here you are simply a MAN! Its a blessing to us to see our people come home. Don't believe people who say Africans don't love black America because that is the biggest lie ever told. We love our people point blank period. You are meant to be home, coz home is where you belong!
You have achieved so much at such a young age. You should be proud of yourself, your experiences and success. Keep going and continue setting the pace for us. Godbless x
It’s great that you feel embraced and are loving your time in Kenya. I do hope that this won’t stop you from traveling the world though and learning about other cultures… even ones that aren’t predominantly black. One thing to take note of… the circles that you travel in now in Nairobi are likely VERY different than the ones you traveled in in Dallas. And a good deal of that is because of the additional economic power that you have over there (the connections with men like Troy help too). You are mixing in well educated, respectable circles now… which is what you should look to do in the USA if you ever return. Lastly, I will agree with other about the cost of that 1bdrm apartment… sounds outrageously high tbh. Forget about AirBNB. Use your connections with locals to ensure that you get a fair price. Keep safe and happy traveling 👍
@YHWHWILLBEDONE… I wouldn’t have offered the advice if I hadn’t been living it. I’m 47 yo and have been traveling for 25 years. Been to over 35 countries. Graduated from University. Not sure if you took my comment as criticism but it’s anything but.

... a stones throw from Westlands ,especially with the ease of travel, you can find great two bed apartments from $400 a month easy .Nairobi is friendly for all budgets..there's apartments for all budgets but you will have a commute if you want the high end nightlife and crowd. The Dallas type prices are in the high end market. You can fly direct to New York from Nairobi too on Kenya Airways.
When you come back to US visit PG county MD you will see a lot of possitive, wealthy black folks. Richest black county in USA. Blew my mind when i first visited, didn't know it existed.
Kool, but how does a developing country's cost of living be comparable to the USA, unless they are artificially inflating cost? Africa's overinflated cost is a turn-off.

Auston is the crown prince of Nairobi, next to Troy, the king of Nairobi.

So true Kenyans are the best in Africa!
I'm Russian but like Kenya best
LMAO
You influence me to make plans on going to Kenya this year. Thanks for the information my African-American brother
Much love for you ❤have been watching your vidoes and im in love with your positivity and content. Karibu nyumbani🤗
Rental prices have gone up dramatically over the last 2 years in the US.
My wish is to move to Kenya one day but I need to figure out how to make online money or a business I can make good money
When you finally figure it, come home🎉
We the kindest and meanest people...just depends which button you pushed.
You have achieved so much at such a young age. You should be proud of yourself, your experiences and success. Keep going and continue setting the pace for us. Godbless x
Kenya is the real Africa. South Africa is just diet Europe
Take your own advice!
@YHWHWILLBEDONE… I wouldn’t have offered the advice if I hadn’t been living it. I’m 47 yo and have been traveling for 25 years. Been to over 35 countries. Graduated from University. Not sure if you took my comment as criticism but it’s anything but.
@tclass99 Got yah, yeah, I mistook your comment for one of those dudes vicariously living through Austin with not enough courage to leave the country themselves, but yet always have advice. My bad Kuddos to you and carry on!
Hes so right. You can be in the perfect weather, perfect location... but if the people suck, you wont like it and you'll leave.
Hey Austin, I love Kenya and Nairobi tuu, yu shld visit ngong hills, you'll like walking the ngong hills, I love Kenya, I plan on moving there as well, and I'm from Michigan, and I love speaking swahili
Please don’t bring America to Africa
I would seriously consider going there permanently based on this video 🙏🏽👍🏼👍🏼
Welcome to Kenya
Bruh they robbing you on prices , I know exactly where you are by looking at the floor tile .. that place is owned by Italians … near a mall .
Hater
@@Deggoo how I’m a hater because I’m letting my brother know he is being over charged ?? I’ve been to Nairobi several times . . Kenyans always try and overcharge us foreigners.
@@Truth-ff8ve I have been in Africa also. Africans start selling with high prices expecting you to bargain because the prize is not fixed in most shops or outdoor Markets but that's minor issues to me. Most of shops in Nairobi are owned by kenyan politicians or business men eg two rivers mall.
@@Deggoojoker with no clue. Shops owned by politicians? Youre still in your hood on government food rations. Politicians dont even run or own businesses except couple of hotels or properties.
@@Simba_tano Much of the property is owned by Moi, kenyatta, families, and other kenyan politicians. Just Ask kenyans
I bursted out with laughs when he said he could walk to Mozambique from Tanzania. Auston do you seriously think you could? I'm sure you have no idea how far it is from Dar Es Salaam to Maputo. lol
Are the apartments really that much per month? I know airbnb would be but I'm seeing $300 to $500 for nice big apartments.
In Mombasa for $1500 you will get a beach front Apartment with ocean views.
Looking forward to your travel to Ghana & South Africa & your viewpoints on the three, including Kenya.😮
Kenya will trounce them!! Only those well travelled will know this! 😂
Also Auston Heads up, don't forget there will be protests on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
I know you smashing like crazy though! Save some women for us bros arriving this fall! Lol😅
Follow your heart bro, That's a connection with your ancestors don't ignore 💪
Was there for 6weeks... Just got back.
It was awesome! Paid only $150 for the furnished apartment. You stayed in a high end neighborhood
The apartments in Westlands district are overpriced & over rated.... Just because the area is a few minutes drive from Nairobi CBD. Check out Kilimani & kileleshwa apartments... They too are modern, secure & fairly priced.
You’re paying too much. Renting a 1 bedroom apartment in Westlands shouldn’t be more than $550
I want to visited Kenya someday oneday
You're welcome
Welcome
Welcome to magical kenya all in one package💥🔥🎉👌🎧💽🎵🎼🎤🌮🍹🌭🍉🌴🏔️🌵🗽🇰🇪🇺🇲😠👽
I agree, I was in Nairobi in March and loved it! The people are very welcoming, there is a lot to do, and the country is developed! Go Kenya
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am planning to move to Kenya next year. Having videos of other Americans being honest about their experience is very helpful.
Great my sister. I am Jamaican living in Toronto. I went to Kenya twice and felt so at home. Love the people.
Hey bro. Check out Mombasa. I think the train that connects the two cities is only like $15 or $20 bucks if I'm not mistaken. And the beaches in Mombasa will rival or beat Brazil I'm sure.
Question though: How are you managing with the protests that's going on? The news here makes it look like the entire country is shut down to a halt.
I'm currently living outside of Nairobi. However, from past experiences the protests aren't really nation wide per se or should I say City wide? It's mostly concentrated in small patches of Nairobi. So he's good.
@@keving.2983those are just one particular tribe of goons who will get contained by cops asap. The demos are in particular low income areaa where the dirty goons live.
@@GabrielMcO And the protests are scheduled.... 😁
@GabrielMcO ok thanks for the clarification. Good to know. Also, why is he spending so much on AirbNb? Because the stuff I see listed for about half of what he's paying looks decent with more rooms..is it just that there are fake airbnb listings on there? Or?
They women are born unique, no gym no fake products, just 100% real.... love you Njoki/Adhiambo/Mwende/ Nafula❤
Westland’s is an expensive place to stay
KENYA 🇰🇪 = have a gateway of God. Literally, Mount Kenya is MOUNT ZION
Bro, don’t refer to our people as them, or they. We’re all African! So refer to our people as our people and nothing else. Just realize, you’re home on the mother land with all our African brothers and sisters. Don’t create a wedge, bring us all together. I hope you get what I’m say and my message. Keep doing your thing my brotha.
Moving to Narobi Kenya as a black man period from the USA seen to much 👌 now not to thats Austin you have completely sold me on Narobi
Good to see you back, black & stronger than ever!
Yaaaaaayyyyy🎉🎉do real-estate videos . Nairobi is affordable, you just need more exposure.

... a stones throw from Westlands ,especially with the ease of travel, you can find great two bed apartments from $400 a month easy .Nairobi is friendly for all budgets..there's apartments for all budgets but you will have a commute if you want the high end nightlife and crowd. The Dallas type prices are in the high end market. You can fly direct to New York from Nairobi too on Kenya Airways.
Always welcomed auston enjoy your self 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪✌️

When you come back to US visit PG county MD you will see a lot of possitive, wealthy black folks. Richest black county in USA. Blew my mind when i first visited, didn't know it existed.
PG County is high in violent crime and car theft tho.
I'm coming home 💯💯🧳✈️
im ethiopian living in the USA, i love the USA and ethiopia both alot, but im really considering moving to nairobi. great vid
Kool, but how does a developing country's cost of living be comparable to the USA, unless they are artificially inflating cost? Africa's overinflated cost is a turn-off.
Glad u choose the motherland
