Tuomas Holopainen is a fuking genius. Not only in songwriting and composition, but in respect to his band (most especially his singers) and this video is demonstrative proof of that. The R&R HoF is/has disrespected this man and group, just like they have so many others.

Oh bugger. I had thought that this was going to be a re-recorded 'best of' with Floor on vocals (a bit like Arch Enemy did a while back). Sure remasters are nice enough, but I'd hoped for something a bit better. I already own all the albums, I don't need the same songs again.
Hopefully it will do well and achieve what they are wanting from it, but it is not for me I don't think.
Yeah I agree with you. Serving both old fans and new fans would of been the optimal choice. Aka make present remaster compilation but add re-recorded compilation aswell. Of course more work for the band, but would of made sense for ALL fans. Now old fans get very little from remaster compilation as they do have the original albums. Ah well, missed opportunity by the band.
I asked him exactly that right after Floor joined, if he had considered re-recording any older songs with her. He gave an immediate "Nope!"
If you get a chance to head to their concert, you will hear all the songs with Floor's vocals!
Stephers Hryniw Very true. In fact I usually only listen to their live albums nowadays. I love Floor's versions of the Annette era songs.

Don't buy it then. It's really that simple.
Compilations aren't aimed at hardcore fans/listeners anyways, they are catered more towards the casual audience to get into the band and stuff.

Well... I wanted to buy _Decades_ mostly as a support to a band I love, cause I don't really need the CDs. But there's a 10€ fee for shipping to France. 10€ for shipping a 17€ album, that's way too much, sorry. It's sad, but I won't be buying it.

Christian Krüger Ahh yes! Yeah that could have been done a bit better, less spread out. :)
Typo has always been kinda off with them. On Dark Passion Play for example, they used the wrong font variation for the actual album title (the one they use here as well, where h and some other letters do not have a bow (Bogen? Wie sagt man da auf Englisch zu?). Never mind the wrong apostrophes in literally every booklet.
I am so sick of Greatest Show on Earth playing on these trailers.
Is Floor going to lip sync to these old recordings of Tarja? If so, she'll sound the best she ever has. Still won't look as pretty as Tarja, but oh well, can't have it all I guess!
