In my teens and a lunatic me and my friends would swim in that stream. Thankfully we never got caught in the currents to go over the waterfall. The water was freezing and almost impossible to get in. But when you got out you felt so euphoric.

Wow what a beautiful park. As someone who has always been fascinated by waterfalls, this was my kind of nature video. I’ll have to keep that place in mind If I end up traveling up that way.

Without knowing it you've given me a great gift tonight. I recently found out my ancestry runs through Fayette county Pennsylvania. I had family born and raised there. Now I wonder if any of them visited that area 200+ years ago. Did they spend any time at that river?? Did they see those falls in their wild state?? Could they have walked those paths?? And yes Wallie I cried. Thank you for this great video.

You're so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the video so much! I agree. If I wasn't pinched on time, I would have set up my little hammock which you tie to two trees and kicked back for awhile either reading a book or falling asleep because of the peaceful sound and scenery. Haha

I had planned on going there a while back but the plans had fallen through with the group of people that were planning on going. But we will be going there. I need to see it for myself and get my state park passport book stamped!

I'm so glad you enjoythe state park videos so much. I definitely plan on doing all 124 state parks in PA. Probably will not be doing many during the winter months, if I do any at all. Maybe a couple of them here or there but when the weather warms back up its on!
