Yosemite is one of the most popular national parks in America. If you've ever wanted to be surrounded by gorgeous natural beauty, hike through some of the region's most majestic trails, or snap a few photos of stunning waterfalls, then Yosemite will not disappoint.
There are plenty of activities to keep you busy in the park. In this video, we're going to cover some of the top things to do in Yosemite National Park.
That includes the best hiking trails, scenic drives, most picturesque overlooks, waterfalls that you cannot miss!
It was a beautiful June weekend in 1984, when my boyfriend took me to the Awanhee hotel for dinner. Afterward, in the shadow of Half Dome, he knelt down and said, "Will you marry me, and I said yes.
We had 32 wonderful years together, and this is my favorite memory of this overwhelming and beautiful place.
If you are up to it I would thoroughly recommend the hike up from the Yosemite Valley to Tuolumne Meadows. It takes a few days, but you will remember them for the rest of your life. I've done it twice.
Great overview of Yosemite Valley. I visited Yosemite last year. Definitely wanna go back because I missed a lot after seeing your video👍
2 quick easy things missing are Fern Spring(right at the South Rd) below Inspiration Point, and Bridalveil Falls. An easy 1/4 mile hike to get wet at the bottom of the falls.
Also stop at the Ahwahnee Hotel(whatever it's called now), to walk around a Grand old hotel. Have a expensive, but not ridiculous, white-tablecloth treat for the wife/girlfriend.
Very good video, well done!! Cool capture of the Black Bear in the time lapse.
Nice video with good information. We just got back from Yosemite ourselves and had a great time.
Thank you 😊
And I’ll on the road heading to The Yosemite park tomorrow from Reno Nevada.
Wow! So far the most comprehensive video of Yosemite with stunning views. We will be there next week (June 4-6), may not be able to see a lot of things up close because of the flooding.
Highway 120 from Oakdale is closed until June 10th. And of course Tioga Pass....closed.
@@angelogarciajr5356 thanks a lot for the update. We just got here from So Cal.
Thanks for the video! I'll be there in just under a month. This was really helpful
They have amazing big mountains
Was at Yosemite last week on Wednesday for a school field trip and we hiked up half dome tiring and fun experience I recommend it to anyone who goes

Great video! My favorite place. But I never got to see Glacier Point.
Amazing National Park

Great video. Helped us plan our trip. Thank you!
Wanted to visit here by December
I visited last week and was turned away at the gate / toll booth as there had been a landslide. I was told it would not be open again until late July or August.
Beautiful
Good job on the video,
Superb video, thanks so much, Happy Trails!!
This is just a paradise.
My uncle works for the Sierra club, so he hikes this all the time.
would you require a permit to do hiking during daytime in any of these places exluding half dome of course

Does anyone know if housekeeping is closed still?
Please do best of Yellowstone and Acadia one day!
Looks like you have more mountains than my district.
Yosemite was just on fire when I went there but it was all closed off
7:33 I see what you guys did here!
Speeding up the footage ain’t fooling me I knew I saw something big n furry go across screen!🐻😳
Love to purchase Yosemite and make it a private park.
Beautiful national park. Stay in the visitor areas. If you veer off the walking trail and get lost the bears and wolves will get you.
Does anyone know if we need reservations to go into the park and let alone if the park is even open to go in??
Open, but flooding on roads due to melting snow.
Could close without notification for safety on 26 miles of Valley Roads.
Call Cal Trans before venturing on 140, 120 or Hwy 41.!!!!
It’s open. And no reservations needed for entry. Nor for camping in the valley.
Pause at 1:54 were it says PIT it looks like a face of someone look closely 😮😮😮😮😮😮😅
Who else saw the BEAR at 7:33?? Wow!!! Hint: play back the video at 0.25 speed.

This video doesn't focus on the current situation in Yosemite though. Most people know these places already but what's new while going here in Summer 2023?
What do u mean by "current situation"?
OS X Yosemite
7:33 A wild bear appears!
Clouds Rest has a better view than Half Dome summit and you dont need a permit
It's scary if someone encounters brown bear in Yosemite National Park

Never go alone anywhere, more people go missing here than anywhere in America ask the rangers and watch them stutter an lie.Beautiful but very dangerous
Source: trust me bro😂
@@Tornadospeed10exactly bro is capping hard
@@Tornadospeed10he might be exaggerating when he says “ANYWHERE” in America but he’s actually right that if you go alone (specifically off the beaten path) it can be dangerous.
The thing is, SO many people visit here that some people are bound to engage in riskier behavior basically, and just more of a chance to come across dangerous things. Usually it’s cause of wild animals to be clear, I’m not claiming there’s serial killers hiding out there (although I GUESS you never know?)
How many days if I want to travel all your suggestions? I am from hong kong

Going back tomorrow for the 2nd time, but this time in the summer/fall. 🤘🏼🎃⛰️
USA is just so beautiful. I absolutely love USA. Shame your democrats politicians don’t feel the same.
