    The "Everything Bee Vac" is a very portable battery powered bee vac that works as good as any conventional bee vac we've used. To date I've personally done over ten hive removals with mine and have been very satisfied. It eliminates the need for a generator and extension cords when working vacant or rural properties. We are an affiliate of All My Bees www.allmybees.... where you can order one so when you order send them and email at sales@allmybees.com mentioning that you heard about them on 628dirtrooster's UA-cam channel. You'll receive bonus parts and we will receive a small referral fee.

    Son, I watched a video early this morning where Mr. Ed jabbed you pretty good when he caught what I figure was a casting swarm in a Tupperware bowl. I giggled about that most of my day...you're a good boy, you're doing everything right. I've been blessed with beekeeping for over 50 years now and love every day of it...keep up your relationship with Mr. Ed. He's a sharp dude. So are you Son...

    I sure am glad I haven't done any removals from buildings with super modern construction methods. I'll take old time, solid 2 x 10 floor joists with 3/4 plywood any day over those fancy truss floor joists with multiple layers of cross grain floor coverings to hold things together, along with the metal cross members and metal studding. Modern construction is designed for quickness of assembly and strength in the structure, not longevity or easiness of repairs. That was a difficult removal, and most folks have no idea how much time it takes to do such a job due solely to construction methods. Your video may show 5 minutes doing the removal, when in truth, it was probably well over 3 hours of hard work. I would hope that your videos give food for thought to those out there who think a bee removal service would bee an interesting field to enter into. Keep up the good work. God's peace brother.

      I know not much BUT I do know it's a LOT more involved that what is shown. Yall do a fine job and the editing takes a lot out of the picture. A real time deal would take a WHILE to watch. Gopher it Mr. Ed and GBWYou, Buddy!

    • @628DirtRooster
      @628DirtRooster  6 років тому +3

      You hit the nail on the head Mr. Ed. This one took right at three and a half hours. One thing you'll be familiar with that wouldn't show even if we live streamed the entire thing is how difficult it is to work over head for hours on end with trash and honey falling in your face. We can't let them know how hard it really is or all the do-it-yourselfers wouldn't provide such good entertainment at the bee meetings when they recount the stories of the ONE they tried.

    Now This is the way I like it. One from you and Mr. Ed too! That vac sure does the job and you ALWAYS do the job! You could've stuffed Mr. Ed up in the ceiling and he could've done it all right there, no problem IF you ran an oxygen line to him so he wouldn't vapor-lock! A-PLUS, Buddy! Get you a bacon chaser for that praline!

    628 ; In this case where you had a newly caught ' hive ' , and when you came out the next day you found the hive for the most part empty . Then you found most of the bees clustered on the ground , just out side the box , and because you had other things to do , you left the bees to move in on their own , and then later you would look for the queen . Now to my point , if you could set up a video camera pointed on the entrance to the hive you might be able to catch the queen . But what do I know ? Jack

    In the R/C world they fly models with a system called FPV in which they wear goggles to see where the model is going. You should get a set of those goggles and affix the camera in a location in the cavity on the work . Then you could see the job and have your hands in there as well.

      I can see it now. The paramedics show up to scoop up my 380 pound carcass of the floor and I have to embarrassingly explain that because of my "special" goggles I forgot I was on a ladder. I turned around to catch a phone call and down I went.... The funniest part would be the crisp clear audio of me crashing through someones coffee table and knocking the wind out of myself.

      Sometimes I spend hours going through music on Epidemic Sound trying to find what I think might fit a video at some point. I really enjoy trying to fit my style of music in the videos somewhere if I have the time but it does add time to an already very long process. Have a folder on my computer where I download what I like and save it for when I'm editing. When I'm done with an edit I go through my downloaded music and grab what I think fits the mood of the video or what fits my mood at that moment. I just liked the sound of this one. As you may have seen in the comments quite a few people disagreed with my choice but that's how it goes some times. Do you think I should offer them full refunds. Oh wait, they don't pay me to do this stuff. LOL I still like this song though... and that's how I found Cecilia.

    I don't know what camera you use but, did you check whether there is an app for it? With my Fuji I can get a live view from the camera on my phone. That might make working in blind spots a little bit easier.
    Either way, great job!

    • @628DirtRooster
      @628DirtRooster  6 років тому +2

      This was done with my phone. I stopped using my good cameras for removal videos because of all the dust and honey that gets in them. I can rinse off my Iphone.

    • @dutchbeek6596
      @dutchbeek6596 6 років тому +1

      628DirtRooster proof that I only grab swarms, didn't think about that.
      That said, getting a rainsleeve for the camera could help. When I was still shooting extreme sports I used those to keep out dust in the forest and sand on the beach.
      They tend to be pretty cheap and you can use them multiple times.
      Might work for these situations as well.

    I always enjoy your videos. My Grandson Josh, who you met at your Dad's house, looks up to you and wishes he lived the exciting beekeeping life you do. Music was a good idea to add to your videos.. Rooster how do I let a 12 year old boy watch a video of yours that has "F---k" ringing thru it? Please do not use music that curses. I am sure there are many young kids out there that do not need to hear stuff like that. You are in an elevated position in society because of the many people who watch and learn from your videos. please always take the high road. You are the example that I want my children to see and emulate. Thank you Rooster. With utmost respect Ricky Pack

      @628DirtRooster  6 років тому +1

    • @628DirtRooster
      @628DirtRooster  6 років тому +1

      Mr. Pack I'm not sure what you're hearing but the song is called "Top Of The World" and she sings "tip of the world" a lot in the song. I'm guessing that's what you're mistaking for profanity. The background vocal repetitively says "cut" but the word you think you are hearing is not in there. I never use vulgar or obscene music or content in my videos. Over 300 videos in I've kept it clean so far. I'm well aware that there are children who watch and I'm not about to intentionally subject any of them to trash on my channel. Thanks for being diligent in looking out for your grandson.

      No offence taken at all. I'd prefer you speak up rather that tune out and go away and I never know why. Thanks for your input. More people need to hold UA-cam creator accountable if they see or hear something that shouldn't be there since there aren't really any good parental controls on this platform and a lot of people don't seem to realize what is inappropriate.

      Awesome!

    • @tonyandric4380
      @tonyandric4380 6 років тому

      I advertise that the battery will last typically 4-6 hours. I had a customer call me last week giddy, he ran it for 9 hours across 2 cutouts and asked what the yellow light means (which is that you're down to the last 20% battery capacity). It's made to run for a long, long time.

    • @MSmith-jx3mi
      @MSmith-jx3mi 6 років тому

      That's what I need for my power tools! :-)

    • @tonyandric4380
      @tonyandric4380 6 років тому +1

      One of my philosophies is "If brute force doesn't work, you didn't use enough". If you can't finish a cutout in 4,6 or maybe 9 hours; well, I do sell spare batteries! When I designed this vacuum, I had made (like everyone else) a shop-vac bee vacuum. It worked, but I hated it. I took a piece of paper and drew a line down the middle, one side "Good" I listed all the things I liked about it. On the other side "Broken" I listed all the things I hated about it. I then set out to design a bee vacuum that solved all of those 'hated' problems without breaking anything I like liked. And that's where the name came from, it does "Everything"!

    • @lewiemcneely9143
      @lewiemcneely9143 6 років тому

      I've been around them all my life pretty much. Had a red and a black. SWEET ogs. Flop-eared females. Ran a forklift around Bien Hoa a while and was in and out of where the food was kept. Cyclone fences and the dobies were loose in there at night. Nobody wanted inside as bad as some of those dogs did. I went and played with them. They were raising pups and I loved every second of it. Fakes people out because I always call them right over to me and I'll give them a good rubbing. Can't beat them.
