- Cheater trying to gain an advantage will always exist in every competitive scene. In Minecraft speedrunning these cheaters try their best at concealing their splices, and modifications to the game in order to pass runs off as legit. In this video you will find out just how 4 different cheaters thought they could cheat, and get away with it.
In the time it took to edit this video I experienced a flood, with forced me to move twice... Hopefully the next vid won't be as delayed due to natural disasters! :D

I got this on my recommended despite not watching any Minecraft-related vids recently. I'd say it's a matter of time.
Today
The Dream cheating allegations era were insane, never before have I seen everyone be so invested in Math and Statistics, even outside the Minecraft community everyone was focused on not just Minecraft, but the specifically on (the what used to be niche) Minecraft Speedrunning scene. Was "fun" to see it all unfold

Great video, I already knew most of this, but watched the video regardless because it's so well made and enjoyable to watch.
at 15:20 - the actulal mistake is making a shovel bc if you play for the rp to have a light, then you don't make a flint and steel, but if you don't need a flint and steel, then you don't need to mine flint therefore you don't need a shovel
24:41 - he actually forced the dragon to perch 22 sec after entering the end which over wrote the 30 block rule.

This video is epic, though do note Flowbee is actually a guy
It gets weird since I heard he was "speedrunning" to attract the attention of a female speedrun moderator, who happened to be a taken lesbian. I dunno if this is 100% true but yeah, Flowbee's scandal was deep. Again, this video is still very epic I really enjoy it

Well presented, it's a good summation that I imagine the average player would be able to grasp even the technical points.
As an example of for how long Flowbee saw the portal room, take Flowbee running through the screen at 18:31 at 2x speed

I don't know. Everyone in the comments is calling Flowbee a "he" and I'm not sure if that's cos Flowbee is a he or because they hate trans people and have decided that flowbee being a cheater means shes not allowed to be gendered correctly. Ive seen the latter happen all the time with trans speedrunners.
In all the videos I have seen covered on the subject, people referred to him as a he, including those he has been in calls with (like a Minecraft speed running mod that he was trying to impress with a faked speedrun because of a crush... even though she had a girlfriend). That's not to say that maybe they do use other pronouns, but their channels and social media presence seems to be gone. With that said, some people have come out with accusations against Flowbee/Toxicflow that I will not get into here because some of it is ick, but I would suggest reading up on it to get a better story.

Is not that it is impossible to believe, why do you think that is impossible to believe?, but I agree that it shouldn't be repeated at face value because there is not solid evidence for that, the autor of this video at least should said "in words of Dream...".
I know that you hate Dream, believe me I'm not a big fan either, but we're not taking his explanation at face value. Karl Jobst contacted the developer who made the mod and confirmed that it was in fact true, although the developer asked to remain anonymous for fear of hate. It seems more likely that you're the one taking things at face value.

flowbees wr blind wasn't even a complete run, he choked the end split but didn't wanna embarrass himself in call with a moderater he liked so he said he didn't have enough eyes to which the mod asked if he was gonna post the run anyway and here we are
