I just finished a baby bonnet adding a lace border! I searched and finally wrote out a pattern based on a Spanish to English translation that was only half explained. Trial and error but I finally finished the piece! How I wish I'd found your site first! Now I have it and I know the next item will go a lot faster!!! Thank you soooo much!!!
Hi, if you want the stitch where you knitted through the back loop, would you have to cast on your right side or wrong side of work , plz help, I'm having my first baby, n am knitting a baby blanket n would like to add a border like you did, but just confused, would really appreciate your input tanx .
Good video. Finally someone explains how the border begins to look. Too many videos don't take the tutorial far enough. Thanks so much. Now I get it.
Oh wow, thank you! I'm new to lace borders and this gave me a great reference to my pattern!
I was so confused just trying to read instructions on how to do this, thank you SO MUCH! This was immensely helpful!
I'm so glad! It's a hard thing to describe in text. Glad the video was helpful!

Is there a chart or a link to the border you show in the video? I love the leaf border, and would like to use it for something I'm working on.
It's part of my Foliage Shawl available here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/foliage-shawl
This need to be refilmed and reposted because the letter box cuts off some of the demonstrated work. Sad.
Could you provide the pattern you are using.
It's the Foliage Shawl that I designed. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/foliage-shawl
Miriam Felton thanks for letting me know
