Great review, mine just came and its doing wonders for me already. At the time I purchased the neo I didn't know the Elite existed but oh well, the scrolls makes brush increase and decrease, opacity control, etc so much more precise.
In LRCC can you assign a button to open up the crop tool and the mask / brush tool for quick localized adjustments? Being able to switch back and forth from dodging to burning would be amazing. Can this do that? Thanks!

Interesting. This was quite helpful as I had thought the device had some merit. Will now watch to see if there is an upgraded model coming out soon. I will certainly consider buying it as I use LR/PS only. Regards...Wayne
Yep, for sure. This is one of those devices where if you really stick with it for a few weeks, that time investment will pay off in months of saved time editing. The only reason it didn't get an A was because of the top knob -- which maybe they will address in V2 or V3.
Balanced review, well done. The thing I find most troubling about these controllers is remembering what I assign each dial/button to do in different programs. Some units come with an on-screen diagram you can toggle on/off to show what’s what, but that can be distracting. What I’d love to see is a tiny LCD for each dial/button that you can program to display the assigned functions, per program - at least until muscle memory kicks in. Absent a built-in set of tiny LCDs, how about some (gasp) paper/printable templates that sit atop the keys or slide under the surface so you can see thru cut-out windows, if that makes sense. At the risk of giving away my age, long ago I made a few cut-out templates for the programmable function keys of my (wait for it ...) Commodore 64 😳. Anyway, you get the idea.

@@robertwarner9951 No, I don't think so, unless they ask for it back. And yes, I would for PS alone. Any product I give a B grade to or above I'd most likely buy.
I still haven’t yet found a video about this product using photoshop that’s impressive. All this controllers out there are great for using the sliders in Lightroom but with photoshop is a different game. This still can’t beat PS shortcuts on a keyboard. Making your brush bigger and be able to clone is just not worth it
The idea to rate products is great, but B+? From A to F means 5 steps, and with + (and ++ or-?), the comparison is, maybe not useless, but the idea to compare easily get lost. And in future, a newer, better version comes out of the same product, re-rating is very hard with this half steps. The product, in your opinion is a B and details in the video, what do you think? By the way, I love your videos with the „one and only pal2tech style“!
