Oh, Jada. You are such a miracle to me! Everytime I think of something I would like to make here you come with instructions for how to do it! We are all blessed to have you to follow for our crochet inspirations. Thank you and Mr. Stitches for all you do for us. By the way, how are the loveable squirrels doing? I love to see ours here in Tennessee bustling around. Happy Easter.❤
Wow, thank you so much! Happy Easter!
Hi Jayda. I love that you always wear or have whatever you are teaching us to create in sight for the whole video.
Hi Jasmin, thank you! I feel like it helps illustrate what's going on 😁
Yes this is very helpful to me also : )
I have a nice stash of 24/7 cotton. What a great way to use it! Thank you, Jayda!
I thought this too when I found this video! So far, I've only been using it for mermaid/shark tail freeze-pop holders.
This is sooooo cute! It's fun and easy! Maybe I will make 4 or 5 like Cinnamon Stitches did, lol!
* giggle * I always say, one can never have too many hats 😁
Easy tutorial and fun to make. Starting my 2nd one.
Awesome sauce 😁 Thank you so much Jennifer!!! 💗

Thank you for watching RosaMaria! 😊
I’m one of those people where I live off of a good craft supply store. I’m also lucky enough to be close enough to be able to get to all 3 of these stores. I’ve shopped at all 3 more or less my whole life. I will say of the 3 Hobby Lobby does have more frequent sales that feel more irresistible than the other 2 while both still have sales often.
Joanne’s feels like a one stop shop on some parts of America, especially bigger cities, while the smaller cities it feels more centered on fabric and yarn. I’ve been in both the smaller stores and the bigger ones and I’d say the bigger store of course feel like a mega craft store. I could also say the same of Micheals and Hobby Lobby.
Michaels seems to always feel like a big craft store, less on the fabric but more on home decore…. But always being a little more expensive than the other two stores…. Even with their sales.
Hobby Lobby feels like a one stop stop, being a bit more balanced. Things seem to always be on sale and these sales are deep enough where you feel you can shop more and get more but not having to compromise so much. Only draw back for me is that the employees aren’t always happy with the company and in my experience they’ve been pretty vocal about it and it makes me feel like I’m funding the company that’s causing them grief… so in this case I’m allot more likely to just go to Joanne’s or Micheals.
I’d say I’m more of in person shopper when it comes to my yarns and fabrics. I want to experience the supplies in person so I’m sure I want to work with them in my home. I’ll shop online for things I already know I like and have used before, like yarn I’ve already got but need more of and hooks.
Wow that's so beautiful 😍 love the colors 😍 your amazing always surprise everyone with with amazing creativity ❤️ 💕
Thank you so much Vima 😀
Have a delightful Easter weekend😊.
Happy Easter!
I love this pattern. Years ago I made a Granny Square hat with the bill. This one would be a lot of fun on a pontoon ride. So beautiful. Nice choice of colors !
So adorably Easter Cute. Been absent for awhile. I have missed you and Mr. Stitches. HAPPY HAPPY EASTER. THANK YOU. ,for the cute hat tutorial ❤🐇🐇🐇🐣🐤🐥🐤🐥🐤🐢😊
Hi Marla! Happy Easter 💗
If you're not used to working in the round you also might need a stitch marker
Yes! Those are great, especially if your DCs are on the short side and the beginning of the row is hard to see. Thank you for watching 😊
Jayda I love this pattern. I made a Granny square hat with a bill but I like this one better. I think it would be wonderful out on the pontoon!
A great hat for a day on the water 😁
I made one, it was fun! Ty for showing us how. You're a good teacher.
HI Correnain! Thank you for watching 😊
Happy Easter jayda , very cute hat thank you I’m going to make the grandchildren one each 🐣💖Amanda xx

Thank you so much for this hat tutorial. I was looking for one that wouldn’t be hot to wear in summer. This one is airy. Love it.

This is a cute hat, I like it better than the granny square hat. Pretty colors too. 🧶🙏🏻💜 Happy Easter!
Hi Kathy! Thank you for watching 😊 Happy Easter!
Love the hat and the colors. Have yarn that this would work with ❤❤😊😊
Perfect! Thank you for watching 😊
I LOVE the colors! I need to get some of this yarn. I thought I ordered a bunch of solid cotton colors, but it turned out it’s merino! 🙄 Duh! 🙄 So, my cotton stash is actually fairly anemic. 😮😮 I’ll be making this hat for sure!
Any excuse to do some yarn shopping is ok with me 😁
I love it and my daughter bought me 6 of the Lion Brand the colors are great i stsrted working on it thank fir sharing

Marvelous! Thank you for watching 😊
Nice at! Great tutorial! Thank you so much! Love it
Hi! Thank you for watching 😊
Can you use acrylic or is it best to use cotton
Hi! You can use acrylic, but it will be warmer than the cotton. If you go with acrylic, I recommend non-pilling acrylic because hats gets fluffy and pilly looking quickly when they're made out of regular acrylic.
🧶🧶🧶💕💕🧶🧶🧶
Just what I was looking for ❤ thank you! Great tutorial
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you for watching!

I love this! Quick question: cotton yarn breaks my hand out….can this be done with acrylic yarn?
Hi! You can certainly use acrylic, I would recommend a non-pilling acrylic for it 😊
Will Acrylic work?
It will be warmer, so better for autumn or early spring 😊
Hallelujah LionBrand COTTON 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thank you 🙏🏻

Thank you so much for this Jayda! I had a bunch of 24/7 yarn already purchased from a kit that I haven't made yet. I let my daughter, who loves bucket hats, pick what colors she wanted from it. This was so easy and fast to work up! I hope she loves it!
Fantastic! Thank you for watching Kiertiana😊
@@JaydaInStitches you're welcome!!

Hi Traci! Thank you for watching 😊
You're amazing....thank you! I did it!🎉
That's fantastic! Thank you for watching 😊
I loved making this. Great tutorial.
Hi Susan! Thank you for watching 😊
I want to use a DK yarn. any advice?
Hi Marcia, DK yarn will make it a little smaller, even if you use the same size hook, but personal tension varies. I would recommend working the first 3 rows and then checking your gauge (as we do in the video). If you're very small, you might need to make an extra large size hat (which we explain in the tutorial) but if you're fairly close, then the DK might not make much difference. Plus, hats stretch out a bit (and again, different yarn will stretch by different amounts) so a hat that's a little snug will loosen with wear over time 😊
@@JaydaInStitches thank you for answering
Love it. I can't wait to make one.
Hi Diane!
❤ love making this hat✌️I have made 6 so far😊

Hi Katie! I did not knit my sweater, but thank you for the compliment 😁 I am considering trying to make a crochet tutorial for a sweater like it because so many people ask... it is my favourite sweater 😂
@JaydaInStitches hi 👋 you're welcome, It's a lovely sweater I would love one, ❤️ 😍 it would be great if you would do a tutorial , I would certainly be up for that , I'm not surprised it's your favourite it's really lovely and it looks snuggly and comfortable 😊, take care ❤️🥰

I have a question when we're doing the offset do we chain 1
Hi Diane, once you're past Row 4 there are NO MORE chain 1s.
VERY NICES AND EASY I WORKING IN ONE THANK YOU
Hi! Thank you for watching 😊
Oh, that's adorable!
Thank you Karen!
Happy Easter Jayda!
We cant get lionbrand in uk or its very expensive. Have you any suggestions please xxx
Hi Vanessa, Happy Easter! I am not terribly familiar with the yarns available in the UK, but 24/7 is mercerize (meaning the threads or ply are woven and not twisted so it's much stronger) and it's a size 4 or heavier DK weight (worsted). 100% cotton too. I would start with your usual yarn spot and look for cotton, then it's size (worsted, DK or Aran or somewhere in between) and then if it's mercerized, that's icing on the cake, but it doesn't have to be mercerized.
@@JaydaInStitches Thank you so much for your reply xxxx
I made it and came out good thanks!! ❤❤
Wonderful! Thank you for watching 😊
OMG I LOVE THIS!🎉
😁
Really cute hat
Thank you Jenny 😊
thank you for the video. if I need a bigger rim can I just add another row of the stitches for a bigger brim?
Hi! Yes, you could also use double crochet instead of single crochet to edge the brim with and that will also add to it's size.
@@JaydaInStitches ok thank you
Bucket head! (why do I have a feeling only a crafter would find that cute...I have a feeling others would think I was insulting them 🤣🤣)
* giggle * 😁
Love all your hats so fun to make
Hi Verna, Thank you for watching 😊
I love it! I actually made mine with acrylic yarn because I'm out of Cotton yarn. I was dying to try this so said I'm doing it lol Definitely making another when I get more cotton yarn!!
Acrylic is good for the cool weather 😁
Love the hat
🥰
I’m making this one this weekend! I saw it & loved it, and then I saw Cinnamon Stitches make hers, so I’m inspired by both of you!
Hi Krista! Thank you for watching 😊
Has anyone made this hat in acrylic yarn ?
Hi! Acrylic is warm so better for the fall or early spring - and I recommend hand washing it as Acrylic pills easily 😊
Yay, I finally picked up some patterns! I confess, I was waiting for a sale. Happy Easter!!! -- Masha
Thank you Masha 💗💗💗
Can i use dk yarn
If not can i use 2 strands in stead
Hi! DK yarn will work, but keep a look out for the following:
1. a slight tightening of your tension (keep it on the looser side or use a slightly larger hook)
2. definitely check your gauge as you go (where to do that is in the tutorial).
Thank you much appreciated
Love your Bucket Hat!
Thank you for watching Ruby 😊
Ooooo I want one of theses 😂❤
Hi Virginia! Thank you for watching 😊
I made this. It was so easy
