- Quick project update: Since life has thrown us for a little loop, it stalled slightly. Since I had to get the 1988 Chrysler 5th Avenue ready for daily driver duty, the Dart took a back seat.

Sorry to hear about your van, but the compliments on the Fifth Avenue are completely understandable. It is one of the most prestigious automobiles ever to be crafted by the hands of man after all. Sorry lol, I love them and was honestly surprised when I bought my 5th Fifth Avenue 3 years ago, to get compliments and find people all over the internet enjoying these cars. I thought I was in a world of my own. Love what you're doing with the Dart, and the LED's look awesome. I've seen a few people post doing the LED swap in their Fifth Avenues too and they look pretty sweet in those cars as well.
Thanks for watching. I was surprised at the following the 5th Avenues have, I've always loved them, but like you, I thought I was in a world of my own.
Cool updated 😎
Years ago I had a 79 Dodge Aspen with the floor shifter, at that time I also had 3 e-body slap stick shifter mechanisms, anyway I got to messing around and was able to easily mod the Aspen shifter with the slap stick guts, I thought it was pretty cool, you could bang gears and not miss a shift. Fast forward to last year and I tried to do the same thing with an a-body shifter but it wasn't going to work, too many differences. I imagine a modified Aspen shifter would work in the a-body console but I would hate to give up the a-body style thumb button but maybe the f-body shifter would accept the a-body thumb button.
There was a company years ago that made a shifter plate to convert an A, B or C body shifter to a slap stik. Unfortunately, they no longer make them. Cope, however, makes one for a reverse valve body, I was actually looking at E body slap stiks amd possibly convert it.
Suweeet! I have a 68 GT that I was going to take the trim off and paint the car a high impact color and put a bumblebee stripe on… so glad I didn’t
It's refreshing to see a break in the high impact/bumblebee stripe paint scheme in my opinion.
Nice new mr feel goods
Oh yeah!
Not sure if you would be interested , I have two brand new 15 x 6 cop wheels ( yes aftermarket from Specialty Wheel a while ago , never mounted ) I would sell for a fair price. If your interested , let me know and we can figure out a deal.
Hello Frank, I would be interested. Can you email me the details? My email is in the information page
Will do.
Did you get my email about the wheels ?
Car is in great shape. I want to do the same thing with my cars. I want to ‘preserve them now and ‘restore them one t a time. Especially with as many projects that I have…😂🤔
