I had the original in 1988...it was my first deck
This is my favorite shaped deck, this and the Winkowski decks are amazing to ride.

love it - back then I actually borrowed this board from the only female skater in my class then I copied the graphics onto transparent paper to have it as a black & white picture on my wall. Slimeballs & Rails ... watching you doing the assembly ... this felt so good

loved the assembly I got the santa cruz natas now to paint and asemble I skated this board in 1980s so now 49 gona climb on again

Good luck! I'm a recent returner to skating at 50. Got this deck to replace the one I had stolen from my front porch in '98. That pain is finally being healed!

Rad setup, this is one of my favorite decks.
Thanks man. I can now finely afford a better setup now I'm older, and working I just don't have the skills like back in the late 80s. But still nice to take my time and maybe who knows.

I'm building one like this but I got 61 MM Wheels do you think quarter inch spacers will work??
Usually I put the wheels on the truck, then on the deck(no bolts yet).. and sorta eye-ball how much gap (pressure youd put) you need before you get wheel bite! That also depends how hard your bushings are too.
I'm not 100% sure as I don't have any in mine
