I would like to say something about your acceptance of free items. I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all as long as you make it clear to the brands you are working with that giving you the item at no cost is not going to influence or guarantee a positive review. Many people, including myself value your honesty and integrity first and foremost. Many people on UA-cam just review things because they have contracts with brands and receive hefty sums, and that results in not really knowing who or what you can trust. For me, and I am sure many others, there is a genuine quality that comes across in all of the videos that you post. I would say that it is most important for you to maintain that genuine quality and do your best to not compromise yourself or the channel for monetary gain. During prime day I actually bought the X 40 after considering several different brands and watching many of your videos several times. $1800 no small amount of money for anyone, especially myself. I am in a wheelchair and on disability, I have been searching for an extremely long time for a good quality robot vacuum and I am proud to say that your videos helped me make a decision that I am absolutely happy with, and you have helped to honestly make things easier for me by helping me to buy a product that gets everything done that I need. In short, do what makes you happy, just make sure that you and the channel stay authentic, that's why so many people love your videos like I do.
Thank you so much, I need to hear this. This was so kind of you to take the time to write such a nice letter. it is very well written and I will use it for future reference
Wow, this is an amazing message. Justadad to add onto that, I myself absolutely love your videos. Even more so then like vacuum wars, your reviews are just so honest and your my first choice when making a decision. I’ve since bought the light blue shark carpet xpert based a lot of research. And after watching yours, I made the decision quickly. You’ve helped me a lot, it’s to overwhelming to swift through companies specs and information. And it’s easy with you!
I bought the Ninja Speedi based on your honest review and I LOVE IT!! 🥰I will also be buying the Slushi when the time comes 😁Thank you Mr Dad for your down to earth and transparent reviews.
Excellent, I have the Q Revo Master, For Rocky Commands. If you command it to clean a particular room it will use what function you utilised last. If you command it to "vacuum only" or "Mop only" it will store that function and try an entire house clean after youve said that command, but when it starts that clean, I recommend to interrupt it as it starts by saying "clean the kitchen" So if you want it to mop a living room. Tell it to "mop only" which start an entire floor plan clean, then say straight afterwards "clean the living room" it'll respond saying OK "going to MOP the living room" To vacuum say "Vacuum only" again it'll start to clean the entire house, Interrupt it and say "clean the Living room" then it'll say "VACUUMING" the living room If you don't say the room and just vscuum only or mop only. It'll spend ages doing a sweep of every room
I can't wait for your review of the Roborock Q Revo Master! I anticipate okay obstacle avoidance results, but dual rollers and FlexiArm side brush. Wow! It's basically an S8 MaxV Ultra on a budget.
On the left side of the roller ( the side that doesn’t come off) when it moves, the blades back-and-forth you can kind of see it by manually turning the left side of the tri-cut brush
There is a workaround to get the side brush working. It requires adding carpet in the app and then seeing it to ignore. But you have to make sure you then only tell it to vacuum and not mop. This goes for when you set up schedules too. Also you can't do this workaround and still use Clean Genius. I wish they would just add a toggle switch. But so far they refuse to do it.
Just purchased the X40 Ultra and and am a little underwhelmed by initial tests. I have a tired old Roborock S502-03 which has 142h on the filter. I sent the roborock to clean a room after the dreame had finished and the dustbin had I would say double what the dreame had picked up. I've ordered the $200AUD tricut brush as I'm hoping that makes all the difference. When i did the test I was testing on max suction on the slider which sounded and felt similar to the airflow on the roborock.
Hello there, I have maybe a bit of a recommendation/request. I‘d love to know, how much of the fine dust these robots are able to remove, from hard floors. For example, if I let my Roomba S9 run and then let the Braava Jet M6 run with dry pads, it still picks up some dust… Try and see with the Laser of the Dyson vacuums how much dust actually gets removed. If you see a difference, it might be worth to add in the videos. Not sure if this is just a problem I am experiencing though… so don’t waste a ton of time trying to recreate it, or to include it if you don’t see any significant difference between vacuums. Thanks for the content.
I have tried this test a little. is seems no matter what vacuum I use, if I use another vacuum after it it still picks more dirt. All vacuums leave some behind, best thing to do is put them on a schedule and you may have to still deep clean once in a while.
You need to do a review of this triCut brush vs the standard rubber roller. OF course I know it cuts the hairs, but does it improve carpet cleaning performance? This is where the x40 lacks in despite its suction power.
2:20 you said why don't the sidebrush move it's not moving since you put a spot clean somewhere it is not at the spot clean that you told the vaccum to do
Would this brush be the best solution for long hair on the market? I'm trying to find best robot vacuum to clean up long hair from my dog. She leaves a ton of fur and I had to cut the hair of the brush every day on Roborock S6 MaxV.
What makes me happy is that companies like Dreame or Roborock is out doing Roomba. It’s just a big middle finger to the first or one of the first robot vacuum companies.
Im excited to see the Q revo Master! I know it wont compare much to the X40 Ultra obstacle avoidance... but i wonder how the dual rollers will compare. I hope i dont regret my X40 purchase that i got a couple month's ago 😂
FYI ...the other day my shark robot hadn't finished cleaning . so went and charged up. I didn't realize it hadn't finished yet? So, I set my security alarm while I left the house. 2 hours later I got a call that my motion detector had been set off, and did I want the police sent out ...I took a chance and said no. Yes...those Robots can and will set off your home alarm.

I agree with this comment. But if you feel that accepting the free items will make the honesty difficult then stay the course!
@@randombro177 thanks for the support!! it sounds fun to work with the brands but I need to stay honest with everyone on the channel!!!

Looking forward to see more tests on this brush. Big fan of my Dreame but I have pets and Id easily buy this brush if it improves carpet performance.
More to come!

Any time
ok

wow wish they would tell us this, Nothing in the manual or web site. thanks for clearing it up!
You could use the square button on dreame for spot cleaning to see how the brush works for the hair on the floor.

Just curious if you had better results with the new brush.

Damn wanted to see Q Revo S

Does the hair still wrap up around the end caps like with the other rollers?
yes a little
How do you make the x40 or l40 spot clan on carpet without mops?
the side brush doesn’t spin in carpet because it could get it wet that’s what dreame says
thanks for sharing. I wonder how would it get wet?
@@JustADad my thought is when it’s running vacuum mop the side brush overlaps the wet floor maybe i could be wrong though

Is the tricut brush worth it over rubber one?
yes if you have a lot of long hair

oh wow!
Ok
Removable fins are for easy cleaning under water.
The good thing about the removable fins is that they can be soaked in water/solution. Great review by the way!
Odd that it only has one brush.
Roborock Qrevo MaxV vs Qrevo Master 🙏 🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇 pls
coming soon
Not supposed to turn on carpet - don't know why, but it's not suposed to.
People may want to be careful putting the roller back in since that cutter could be sharp. Thank you for your review 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
because of people like you we have the "caution hot content" in the carton coffee cups
