No comment about how the V6 sounds way nicer than the inline 4? The smoothness of an engine would definitely be something to take into consideration when picking an engine...
I've always been on the cheap side of vehicles. I have had several types, styles of vehicles from 85 subarus (great car) to 2005 ford 2x f150 (newest) that truck was the prettiest! Great Video! You can actually get the s-line package on the 4-cyl ones, though much less common. I got the 2.0t premium plus mostly because it was the most available one in my price point (and warranty ends in Jan 2021) but also its the only engine (don't know about the hybrids) choice that does not require the engine or front end to be removed for any semi major work done in the engine. In a perfect world i'd have a tdi prestige in navarra blue with the s line exterior package.
JUST SO YOU KNOW I put a CTS throttle body spacer that really made drivability much better. Then I added an AEM filter and the 034 motorsport intake tube. Those really made a big difference and really improved the mid range to top end. And I am not even tuned yet.

I just bought a 2013 Q5 3.0 TDI Quattro. I am told that the engine is a 3 litre V6 diesel turbo. Is mine a rare variant, or is it just different because it was made for the Australia/New Zealand market?
Does anyone know anything about Q5 Hybrid petrol/electric 2.0, 211hp, 2013. I’ve been reading a lot about this model and thinking to buy it but can’t believe that the fuel consumption is 33 mpg ( as per audi specs ) it should be way less for the car with 211hp, maybe 23 mpg. I also read that the car has jitters at low speed due to transition from electric to petrol engine and vice versa. On the other hand, I heard that everything runs smoothly… internet is full of BS :) I need someone who owned it and/or still owns it to tell me the real facts!!
I sold 2 and got them both back for being lemons if this says anything ! i had to ship them to auction to finally loose money on one and break even on the other , stay away from vw products especially audi they are an electrical nightmare audi congested far too much into far too little they should keep the drivetrain seperate from the rest of the car but arent that smart cause congesting everything makes life easier for them when manufacturing and they might make 2 more cars a day by cutting very important corners.
Was built to last in your front yard when they break down due to a simple problem of major engine or transmission failure umder 100k. They will look great at front of the house, I promise 🤣
