3 moths ago I got my 2010 Q5 3.2 premium plus, 166k kms here in Canada, paid 13K Cad. Came with brand new winter tires and brakes. Pretty happy with it, I do my own maintenance, changed Vacuum pump gaskets and driver's CV boot., next will be all driveline fluids, differentials, transfer case and transmission. I also did some exterior upgrades, making it look the same as the Sline. I really like it so far, lots of power and smoothness from the 3.2 combined with an excellent strong ZF transmission, gearing ratio is great. I agreed about the space, by looking from outside I would never imagine such a specious interior. For people who is looking for this 1st Q5 gen. I highly suggest to go for the V6 over the 2.0T, so many issues with the 4 cylinder, some simple research will tell a lot. Plus, if you care about engine sound and character the 3.2 is the way to go. Same for the A5. Keeping good maintenance, evert oil/fluid fresh over time prevent big headaches.
Very true 👏👏 I have this car and get my oil changes done at that dealership. They always say i purchased the right model! I have 3.2. 2010. Trying to get my to sell it. No issues with it at all. Currently have 143k miles.
I own a 2009 Q5 3.2 Very good buy but I'll stay away from 3.2, very expensive to repair timing chain, reason is you need to remove engine because it on the back. On the Q5 2.0t timing chain is in the front and easy without removing engine.
I asked a mechanic with a 2012 q5 3.2 s line who drove his with 250k miles he said most people with all those issues put low quality fuel in their cars which causes hella issues. He told me if I get only use premium fuel. He said if you cant afford premium fuel dont buy it
Just bought a 2011 Audi q5 3.2 Quattro s-line with 117k miles for $7k beautiful car and fast asl just was confusing at first on how to play music from my phone but apparently I have to buy ami Bluetooth for glove box which is weird but that’s the only hiccup
We bought a 2010 Audi Q5, 3.2 for 17K , 78K miles, in 2017. We are both big people and I don't fit in many cars. VW and Audi fit truly tall people. VW is the only car I've ever been in that I move the seat all the way back and it's too far! Our beautiful sunroof shade broke, they wanted $3000 to fix it, we had it removed and tinted it as dark. When it's driving great, it's great. It's ridiculously expensive to get any work done on it. If you do your own work, you soon realize why it's so expensive to fix it takes time to move stuff to be able to access any parts like spark plugs or like that EPC code you've got. My wife drives it and loves the comfort. I think it accelerates great but she thinks it drives like a truck. I wish we'd gotten the Lexus but since it's paid for I want to avoid getting rid of it. (140K in 2023)
I have always thought AUDI’s are troublesome in nature and would have only considered a Toyota or Honda, maybe RAV4 or CRV or maybe Tucson but this compact luxury segment. I like what I heard, I might try a Q5 when the time comes
What do you think about a Q5 2012 V6 3.2L (no turbo) with 220 000 km for 10k CAD ? The car seems very clean at least interior (I will check it tomorrow)… With high mileage, there is also a risk : I will ask a full inspection from Audi if buy it and change at least distribution if I don’t this change confirmation. Our car needs are small : shopping, and perhaps 2/3 journeys in Quebec. Max 8000km by year

@@Autostop_ that seems like a pretty fair deal. You could probably talk them down about a grand. 2 months ago so you probably already bought it or something else though.

I found a $15k usd for a 33k miles 2010 3.2 Q5, is that a good deal? The only downer I could find were the seats, they had fabric instead of leather. Any advice besides the test drive and checking all the switches?
