Just installed mine...you save my life with the extension thru the grill idea...lastly how did you torque to spec the ball joint i couldnt fit my torque wrench on there
Great job filming this. Not sure if you mentioned the year of your 4R, bit i just did my '24 yesterday and those AC lines have been revised a little. I did have to remove a bolt and unclip the small line for its bracket. There is a little zig-zag in the small line that the engineers obviously added for this excact reason. Made me nervous to push the lines away but i was able to pull the job off with no assistant. Got it lined up, had to go a little high on caster to get the cabmount clearance i need but its quiet and drives great. Edit: lol, i just realized you're working on a tacoma and i have a 4runner. That explains the AC difference, but nevertheless the JBA UCAs are outstanding.
@@yezkaholic No but it was a matter of time. They were creaking and squeaking every little bump. They get gunked up so fast with the open design that they stop accepting grease.
Gotcha! I currently have SPC but looking to make the switch. Thanks for the video it will help on my install. How much did yoi torque down the ball joint nut@THFOffroad
Was there any like compression with that upper ? When I tighten mine it’s moveable up and down unlike when you tighten other uppers they usually compress and stay up them selves
Congrats on your daughter and good job on the video

I had the same problem… I used my best judgement

I know that hat! "Don't be a hoe!"
Great video!!
That’s right!🙌🏼
can these jba upper control arms be a good match for 2.5 kings shocks on toyota fj?
They make a set for an fj that will accommodate a 1-3.5” lift. Check out their website!
Was your ball joint shot on the icons?

Nope. They should be moveable
Any issues with rubbing?
I rub when fully turned going in reverse. All about the tires not uca. High clearence wheel wells on the way.
