im gonna do another way. actually its not even a laptop. it has a portable usb battery taped to the bottom (the battery is slim and the size of a pi), the usb port is connected to the pi's power input, and i have a display the size of the pi on top of it. its kinda thick though, about 2.5 cm

Projects like these are neat and al but the raspberry pi is not a good solution for a laptop. For about the same price you can get a used think pad with a lot bigger screen

nothing just a black frame around it ,a touch sensitive screen would have to a small flat cable coming from it to the driverboard
