Nice. I'm tearing down my 96 RS now. Stripping her to the bones, sandblasting, repainting, and rebuilding from the ground up, piece by piece. She's been sitting for 13 years in the Vegas heat. Not much rust, but all the seals, and rubber joints are cracked and rotted. It's been too long. I'm going to finally make her fly again. I don't care if it takes me 5 years to finish, I'm in no rush. Shell be magazine/UA-cam worthy when she's done
This guys knows what's up and speaks the truth most slept on coilover option H&R coilovers are hands down the best suspension for single adjustable coilovers under $1500 on a street car + track duties H&R are the kings of actual R&D smooth comfortable well matched w/ springs to individual chaos + frequencies + maintenance free quality will genuinely last 10 years without rebuild and still feel great they aren't your generic BC racing same internals/valving regardless of car can't stress enough absolutely slept on
@@bvspeed I was blown away the first time I drove a car with h&r coilovers having tried many different brands over the years on many different chassis I thought it must be a one off just lucky combo or something till I bought a set of my own now having tried them on FR & FF & AWD I'm still blown away at the ride quality and what a difference properly matched spring to chassis frequency & valving to spring rate can make. Truly the best of both worlds smooth comfortable ride with minimal body roll just enough to utilize weight transfer. softer setting for street use and bumps potholes etc don't make the car feel like it's too soft and will bounce away to infinity stiffer for track days without feeling so stiff going to break in half. These days there are some other great options w/ s3 & feal but h&r is still always one of my recommendations for around $1k street/track
This is a very nice street/track car! I love the fact the engine bay is very functional, keeping it OEM and still clean! I love the everything about the car! Especially the All Motor 300+ whp on Pump Gas.
LOVED this one! What an absolute beast! Great location for the run down. I’m trying to find somewhere just like that here in the UK. Abit more difficult and car parks like this are usual full of people and cars!! Great content as always!
I agree about the transmission. My '05 kfrank RSX-S goes through gears too effortlessly. I wouldn't mind taller gears, maybe the final drive from the previous model would be good too. I'd also like the TSX sixth gear.
Good looking car, monster power. I bet that diff made a huge "Diff"erence with all that vtec. The switch from the oem torsion to OsG on mine was a drastic change, I couldn't imagine 306whp. Nice setup homie!
I'm usually pretty on top of comments, but somehow I missed this! I've only experienced an MFactory helical, but would love to experience how one of the higher end diffs feel!
Nyob zoo from Portland! Videos are drastically improving. Interviewee mic would be great though 😁. Love the quality of this build. Nothing flashy, just thoughtful mods.
Good vibes. Also, I have way more respect for track racers that do it without ABS because it brings out more driver skills. Even if it gets scary at times lol.
Great video, addition of the car in action would be cool but understandable since youre not doing these at the track. Also the audio seems to go from right to left then back to both alot through the video.
I agree, but it all depends if I can get those clips. I’ll definitely try to add more. Also, I was hoping no one would notice the audio lol I accidentally recorded the audio in stereo. Oops.
225/45/15 Anyone know how that would be on a street car? Rolled fenders and probably some noise lock to lock? Love the tire setup and thinking the same on my Integra, any help appreciated thanks guys.
No issues run them on my street dc2, although my suspension is also stiff as hell and have aftermarket sway bars so have not had to worry about rubbing.

It's all about trusting in the process! You've got the right mindset; you can't rush greatness! Have fun on your journey!

For sure man! They definitely don’t get as much attention as they should!

Well built car. Awesome interview questions!

Truth! I can’t imagine what it’s like to have 300+HP NA at your fingertips!
Great video!! Nice Integra build!!! 👍🏻🔥
Thank you, and yes it is!!
🔥 beautiful setup, they don't make things like they used to
Right!? Gotta love the golden era…
what a fantastic build. oem+

@@bvspeed I had to relearn how to drive the car on the 1way plate. Its very fast once you get it down
Oh wow ep3 trans very interesting. I like it !
It makes pllleeennty of power so it makes sense!
Sweet ride cool stories
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great video!!!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!
We love David 🏁
He’s like a tall muscular smart handsome yoda with a really nice car…of Honda USDM racing
I guess that’s a compliment? 🤷🏻♂️😆

Thank you! I’ve got a dual channel lav mic setup, but clearly I’m still fine tuning it lol

I too, live dangerously 😆

This car is great but I wish we could hear it or see it in action. Some footage of it ripping should be added imo.
Yes! I will try to add more on track footage in future episodes!
2300lbs that’s extremely light
I’m sure it could shed a few more pounds!
I wanted to hear him get on it. I didn't even get to see him drive.

Roll fenders and add camber. Also will depend on your wheel offset.
No issues run them on my street dc2, although my suspension is also stiff as hell and have aftermarket sway bars so have not had to worry about rubbing.
He said cheap $1400 coilovers, 🤪
Pretty cheap good ones run 2000+
I got my coilovers at a steal also. $1400 as well haha. Gotta pay to play!
does david has IG?
Yup! It’s in the video description.
@@bvspeed appreciate it, just missed it lol was looking for it.
honda guys are sleeping on h&r best coilovers
Definitely not the most popular in the Honda world.
