@@ry0usama511 I hope they rerelease the entire 4th Gen line. With Armored Core model kits only being accessible through the aftermarket, the prices have gone through the roof.
FROM's focus on the beetle throughout this trailer is such a grim yet beautiful framing of hoe destructive war is.From the quiet naturality of its walk at the start, to the commotion and unrest caused by the encounter, to the desolate stillness of war's aftermath. Life truly struggles in this world. Awesome fucking intro.
Ive watched this intro probsbly over a thousand times. favorite video game intro ever, it feels so gnarly and real. this 4K upscaling is unimaginable, it doesnt seem real how good it looks lol
the point of view of the cameraa , the badd ass entry and peopple realy scaryed by the arrive of an encounter , the style of animation.. Damn i dont know why they dont do a cinema production ...i think the Armored Core Cinematics are maybe the best cinematics mecha clips in the internet .
@@carmotionmedia hard agree. They show the sense of scale and power so well,I love the soldiers panicking and immediately firing up everything they have to fight it
The overall meaning conveyed in the Intro is particularly heavy. Most of the time you don’t see people in Armored Core but you do. You’re just a corporate tool hired to kill people. Once in a while you’ll face another tool. IMO best intro for cinematic and what the game is about.
0:16 me as a 10 yr old always got scared whenever this thing starts to play so I always skipped. Can't play it since Im a dumbfuck till my pirated copy of the game gets corrupted, I consider myself not one of the ravens because of this Im a failure. Missed playing this beautiful game but still, what a fond memory when I was a kid . Really happy when Ac6 got announced
Except it isn't. In the AC6 trailer, the arm is shaped differently and there is no gun. It was also ripped from the rest of the body, whereas in the Last Raven intro, it was already blown off. AC6 is also supposed to take place on a different planet, and the surrounding structures are completely different from the Last Raven intro, so there's that too.
It's a look many AC arms have. Where the elbow extends past the joint. A look that gets more and more lost on AC designs when AC4 came around. But the design philosophy of the 4th and 5th gen ACs were somewhat meant to be a departure of what made Armored Cores look...Armored Core, especially AC5. For 4, it was simply next-gen. For 5, similar to Chromehounds....which From Software also made, which is also why unlike the other games many of the parts were the same part but with more or less armor attached to them, like in Chromehounds. Chemical weapons were also from Chromehounds. And no how the defense worked is not like Chromehounds. That Yugioh AF ATK vs DEF system AC5 was rocking was all AC5. It was TOO different to say the least. For 6, clearly they've gone back to what Armored Core has been for the longest time. Even though now the designs support side boosters like AC4's ACs did.
Just stumbled across this and knowing it's after the events of AC3 Nexus, seeing how broken and dilapidated the world is, it looks so much cooler with the dark setting of what seems to be an end to another age
Remember: If you played this and got the Zanaida Ending, then you have every right to be called "Raven" and (dont try to) give game journalists...and maybe Geoff Keighley the birdie.
It's crazy to me how Armored Core 6 finally realizes this vision.
AC6 plays how Silent Line and previous titles advertised themselves. lol
If only they added part destruction and first-person mode, AC6 would be *wild*
Exactly my thoughts

one thing i notice these AI upscales struggle with is noise. filters, camera shake, blur, etc.

You know the best part about this intro? Most of the features you see (AC parts dismembered, foot troops, first person mode) are in the game.
Yeah, they absolutely nailed it.

I'm pretty sure the battle from this intro is what they were reenacting in the new ACVI teaser
Nah I’m pretty sure the ac 6 battle is new, they didn’t have the railgun, human soldiers, or sword in the new trailer
The part that the new AC was picking up *kind of* reminded me of the arm that was shot off in this intro

Just realized that the arm and gun the scavenger picks up in the trailer for armored Core 6 is the one blown off from this trailer
