I love this bag! Thank you!!
You are so welcome!
Love the stitch, makes an interesting look. PLUS, I like the Square Bottom Bag, your tutorial was well done, easy to follow.
I am happy to hear that. I hope you enjoy your bag.
Such an amazing explanation- thank you for the clear instructions!! Excited to try this:)
Thank You! I am glad it was clear.
I used your pattern for the bag and it came out great!! I used a few more colors so I have a couple of stripes. I want to thank you for sharing your pattern with us fellow crocheters out here!
You are so welcome! I do think this would look amazing using a self striping yarn. I bet the stripes look great.
I used your pattern, it's great I love it so much. Thank you.
You are welcome 😊
very nice I was looking for a different bag style.
It is a fun bag to use.
I love linked double crochet!
This is such a fun idea! Your channel is one of my favorites!!! And I’m very picky 💛🥰
Thank you. That means a lot. I am still learning and improving, but I always try to do my best.
@@WindingRoadCrochet it takes a lot of time and effort to do what you do and I have so much respect for you. Truly.
Giving people the tools to be able to craft something is an amazing gift. You’re always very thorough. Keep doing what you’re doing 💛💛💛
Thank you for all you do 🌻
Happy Mother’s Day‼️ I’ve made this style of bag before. I really like your idea of using the linked st, shorter handle and the lining. I use the first one as a catch all in my truck. I sling it over the back of the seat and it’s perfect. But I’m making yours for me to actually use as a purse. Thank you😀
That is wonderful. The linked stitch makes it so you don’t have to line it, but it is very easy to line being a rectangle.
Oh my goodness that would be perfect in our family car. One car we all share and my kids are young so this would be perfect to pack everything they need on a regular day or a trip!!
Thank you!
New subscriber & I'm hooking it up right now and thank you so much for this lovely tutorial, enjoyable to follow.😀
I am glad you enjoyed it.
That is a great pattern. I love how you lined the bag to make it extra sturdy. 💙
Yes I find that when I line a bag I use it more.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you
I have never heard of this stitch before
The linked double crochet is not a super common stitch but makes the holes between stitches smaller.
Can you make it from a macrame 3mm cord? I have no idea how to translate the amount of yarn needed for that project into a thicker and more stiff medium, but I think with a 7mm hook I'd get nice and tight stitches.
You could probably make it from any yarn or cord. You just want to make a rectangle that is 15 inches by 45 inches. Or any size that is 1 by 3.
@@WindingRoadCrochet thank you! I'm a little bit concerned about the pliability and I don't know how to figure out how much I'd need, especially with a bigger hook, I'd like... Double the yardage?
Hi I'm in the UK so using different yarn. Can you tell me the dimensions of your finished rectangle please?
41 inches by 13.5 inches.
@@WindingRoadCrochet thank you 😊
Note to myself since I can never seem to fold properly. 9:09 is where the folding is shown.
Good note!
Bonjour en français svp merci
You are welcome
