Call me old, old fashioned, senile or whatever you want. I remember the Seventies and early Eighties fondly. The bikes were awesome. Owned a Ducati 600 TT 2. To this very day I regret having sold that bike. the Dellorto pumpers were quite painful to synchronize and maintain but as a package! Also owned a Kawasaki 750 Scott Russel replica which was great , even with the flat slides being very uncooperative in city traffic. Hit the motorway and grab a handful and magic happened. Not the current supercomputer 200 bhp magic, but a different magic. Like watching old episodes of The Magic Roundabout!

The Only Good( barely) Electronics are the Ignition. I had a 1972 CL450 I COULD RUN WITHOUT A BATTERY. I MISS THAT.

@@goran2003 i know that. ABS; How much brake pressure I apply with engine braking. Rider Aids: Sounds like a Public Health issue. I rode when Electric Start was an Option. STILL Do. And I'll take an Older Bike over a New one Any Day. Like Everything Else; Cancel Culture wants All New. Which Mostly Sucks( Poor Quality, Expense of Maintenance) etc.

BTW ... I still have one motorcycle with kick starter, fuel tap, "choke" lever and all that funny old parts 🙂

How do they run with *ZERO* electronics ? Surely they have a stator, a flying magnet to generate the _electronic spark_ needed to run.......

@@goran2003 "zero" is an absolute, my freind. "Pure analog" is accurate. _Zero_ , is not. Spark Ignition IS electronic.
