Thank you so much for this guide. My main is 98 on FV and leveling has been a pain. Getting some extra XP through the overseer stuff sounds like it will help. Now I just gotta wait for servers to come back up lol
Retiring duplicate agents is worthwhile as you get an item which allows you to boost one of the activities such as Plunder, Trade etc etc. This can be a big boost if you retire a purple (elite) agent. There are bonuesessuch as additional agents for maxing a a group of skills too. I tend to use Overseer quests once I get to 111 as the mercenary AA points don’t seem to accumulate till then but if youhaven’t got a higher level character then overseer quests are so important to getting characters to higher level especially if you solo a lot, evenif you don’t it is a great boost to a character. Great video as always. 👍
@@hammackj no problem, I just noticed that if you had duplicate agents, you still could only use one of the same agents in the quests for that day, so I just retired one and found the boost.
The ornamentation dispenser only requires the 1 to get the weapon ornamentation, it is not like the collection fragments which require 4 to make 1 collection dispenser
You should not be picking the mercenary experience choice on live. If you look at the reward compared to the character experience, the character experience option actually gives more mercenary experience then just the merc option. Early on, like SoD/UF the merc option gives more then the character exp option, but at some point it switches where the merc option is never a good option to chose
Another great video thanks! Still, a few questions... I am not 100% clear on what the color of the quest indicates. "Specialness"? Rarity of being offered? I just always try to prioritize doing them, but I am not exactly sure WHY. Also what does the "level" of the quest mean, and what controls the level of the quests we are offered? I know "more/higher is better" but do I have to level up each of the skill categories to level 4 before I will be offered 12 hour quests in that category? It certainly feels that way but I wasn't really paying close attention when I started Overseers. I've mostly been using Overseer for XP and a few trade skill components. Higher level/longer duration quests give more XP and more components**. Do longer quests also give more collection pieces, or do you only ever get 1 collection piece from a quest. And we get to choose the collection piece we get? Thanks again, always look forward to your videos. ** I've seen the phrase "mats" flaoted around is that lingo for tradeskill components?
Mats == Trade skill materials I feel like the color(rarity) increases the rewards. I have been focusing 100% on Green+ quests with Towani and I notice she gets offered More exp/more rewards and more agents. On Nomeregard I focus 100% on getting collection item quests and I typically get 1 per. I noticed I got 3% exp from a purple quest once but so hard hard to tell. Just depends on what your going for I think. Longer quests do seem to give more reward also. Takes so long to convert all the agents to purple =\

I think you can get close to 5% of any level a day with it. Pretty handy.
For those that have Silver accounts, they also get up to 5 quests.
Good point. Any account paid with a krono will turn silver also!

I was not aware of the retire mechanic. Thank you for the info.
