How we, my husband and I, enjoyed every single minute of watching this series for 13 years. Because there were many episodes that we enjoyed very much I can't put them all over here.
At homecoming we would always have "theme" dress up days at my high school. One year they did "Western Day" so my buddy and I put on 3-piece suits and cowboy hats and went to school as J.R. and Bobby. That was 1981 and Dallas was at its peak. Truly an epic TV show.
Every time I hear this theme melodie I grin, smile from one ear to the other, got goosebumps, warm feeling inside, feel tremendous happy! Just perfect.
Excellent collaboration of the show, this is one of my all time greatest shows of my life my late son used to dance to this and say all of their names while dancing to the theme show, and he had also his siblings dancing with him. I loved this show from the beginning and I love it now as it continues with the Ewings children, Thank you for the time you spent well done.
JR is the coolest, Larry Hagman is a legend for playing JR so masterfully, truly gifted man to find all that evil within such a good and kind and funny man
What a great, great job you did here! Thank you very much for the hard work for all to enjoy. So great to see all the characters that I had forgotten were on that show. I loved it and because of you I may go online and start the whole series from the beginning again. I suppose everyone knows that they are doing a new edition of the series with some of the original cast members coming back (Hagman, Duffy, Gray).
This one is crisp and clear. I'm 56. Just a kid back then when it aired. I don't want watch tv anymore. But if i did, this would definitely be at the top of my list for some ungodly reason.
I'd beg to differ - for a continuation, it's very well done, and it feels very much in the spirit of the original. The storylines are well-developed and well-written, and TNT has done a top-notch job putting the whole thing together. The actors are also top-rate and experienced for having been in several TV series, and as for the acting, just as an example, one UA-camr commented that while Josh Henderson did nothing for her as the poolboy on Desperate Housewives, his John Ross on Dallas did.
Great! Now, you gotta add, Jesse Metcalfe, Josh Henderson, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, and Kuno Becker to the credits as well.
The best years of "Dallas" were early on-especially Sue Ellen's alcoholism and "who shot JR?"-I had that shirt as a kid! It got stupid later on though with the new character's and resurrected character lines.
YOU MISSED LEIGH MCCLOSKEY !! Lucy's husband DR. MITCH COOPER. He was part of the show's opening credits during the season when they got married. YOU MISSED LEIGH MCCLOSKEY !!!
I loved this show and I'm glad I have the fondest memories of watching it every Friday night with my late aunt. I just wish this video had included all of the characters, big and small, such as Dora Mae (from the upscale bar and lounge) and Theresa (Teh-Re-Zah, the Ewing's maid).
Hello Mr. J.R. Ewing ! :) Congratulations and BEST WISHES for your B-DAY ! :) Stay well for the next 80 years ! ALL THE BEST from germany ! ( Also to Bobby, Pam, Sue Ellen, and ALL the others, - and even to Cliff ! haha ! ;) THANKS a LOT for the GOOD TIMES !!!! patrick :)
remeber when Barbara Bel Geddes got sick and had to leave the series and Donna Reed took over the roll as Miss Ellie.Mis Bel Geddes came back because she was decusted at the way Donna Reed play Miss Ellie and retook the roll back, even though she was ill
"Sue Ellen.Sue Ellen! Wake up!" "What is it JR?" "You won't believe the dream I just had!" "Oh? What happened?" "First that weirdo host guy from "Caberet" sends me to a freakshow version of our life stories and then I;m some kind of space cadet with a harem girl and she folds her arms together and nods her head and blinks and I'm an insurance salesman in the suburbs!" "JR Ewing, I told you that barbecue sauce you were drowning your steak in was bad, but did you listen? Get rid of it in the morning!"
I am not sure if I explained myself very well now... what I meant is that: some things just have to exist........... and the serie Dallas feels so for me anyway....... (If this made any sense now...?? well difficult to explain what I mean........................)
To be perfectly honest, if it were any other song the excessive repetition would be annoying AF but the Dallas theme song is motherf-ing epic that it is even better.
I, always, wanted to see the writing/directing credits(just, a 'thing', with me.) Was I surprised(yes-and, I know it was a one-off but, always, have wondered how it came to be/worked out), in the '80s, to see, at one episode's beginning: "Directed by Victor French."
RIP JR,JOCK,miss ellie,Claytonvand cliff,carter macay,jackie.
R.I.P.: J.R. Ewing, The Best Bad Guy ever on television!
He was one bastard ya loved to hate
@@dancastro4732 Yeah but I didn't hate him.
Never thought JR was a good character very boring
@@dancastro4732
J.R. Ewing was just that. The Man you love to hate!
I love this theme music
This theme music is not like any other ever made. It is awesome!
Dito!
Very cozy and good
I always used to play this theme song when I drove by SF to visit my sister.
Actually it's a variation on the Theme for the Movie "Giant"..which could almost have been about Jock, Ellie and Digger.
How we, my husband and I, enjoyed every single minute of watching this series for 13 years.
Because there were many episodes that we enjoyed very much I can't put them all over here.
The best night time drama series...hands down. The theme song is a masterpiece, in and of itself. ...dem horns!!!!

Great edition with the serie where ever not found any more.Thank You. По-Русский очен приятно .
I've looked at this video several times but I now just realized they never showed Dusty Farlow
What I think is that Dallas had the most awesome looking women, and so many of them, that made it my favorite. Thanks for sharing this...
JR is the coolest, Larry Hagman is a legend for playing JR so masterfully, truly gifted man to find all that evil within such a good and kind and funny man

I love Dallas forever
I'm always amazed how in only 13 years both Larry and Patrick hair went from Dark to Grey.
Nice job, good job remembering Donna Reed!
This is perfect RIP Larry Hagman, Donna Reed, and Barbara Bel Geddes
Don't forget Jim Davis, Howard Keel and Ken Kercheval plus George Kennedy
Jim David was the best
@@justinp5661 Barbara Bel Geddes ( Miss Ellie) was the best
I Love Texas!
I loved that DALLAS THEME!
I Think Texas is the Best Place in the USA ! I Love Texas! I Love Texan Food and the Landscape was Fantastic! God Bless Texas!
At least everybody tried their best to outfox JR Ewing but at the very end JR laughed very well when it came to arresting Cliff Barnes in Mexico.
And J.R. won and got the last laugh
The best one yet.

For all the most Texan Food!
I've been a fan ever since the series began from the first to the last KEITH
I think this collection is not about the sound, but by clipping each version of each actor together, you could see how they matured over the years.

Jim Davis, Barbara Bel Geddes, Howard Keel, Donna Reed,
Dack Rambo, Sir Larry Hagman, may they all rest in peace to JR you'll never be forgotten.
They are the Ewings no one can replace them in my opinion
Deon Reaga
Add Ken Kercheval and George Kennedy to the list
I do not ordinarily swear, but DAMN, Charlene Tilton! She was my dream girl in them days.
She was hot indeed. She is still hot today
@@dancastro4732 And cute as a button at the same time, which not many women can pull off!
And the Texan Law!
Bring back DALLAS best TV show ever made!
Without JR. Ewing there is no Dallas
They did and it sucked.

Omri Katz (John Ross) grew up on the show, wish you'd have shown him aging over the years.
Remember him in Hocus Pocus as the moron who brought the witches back?
