Years ago I went to an EDM concert here in my hometown, local artists and stuff. This one dude remixed the ER theme into a hell of a banger. God I love this show.
ER is my favorite all-time medical drama. The original cast was the very best of the show! Hats off to the cast and crew of ER for making one of the best shows on Television 📺!
ER was a show that could go on forever. Much like real life hospitals and workplaces people come and go over the years. There are always those people you identity that you would make friends with. I feel the same with ER. As the cast changed so did relationships, friendships and dynamics which is so true to real life
Yes but I’m kind of happy they ended it on a high with the great cast they had. These days things are different and people aren’t the same imo - everything is much more dumbed down in general and people are much more plastic and fake, I would hate to see Er influenced by that. I love how everyone was so genuine looking in Er and wasn’t caked in makeup or full of fillers. And I love how the women where so smart and mentally strong, these days the women idolised by the media can barely string a sentence together.
ER will forever be the best show of all time! It is a show that captures the human heart and what life is all about: the memories, the laughter, and the tears. This music just brings you right back into that!
I threw tomatoes when they got rid of the opening credits in season 13. These were such a brilliant and exciting way to start the series every week and always made it feel epic, it's ridiculous that I can listen to 29 minutes of this and not get bored.
I'm a nurse and I loved ER when it was on network TV. I love it now that I can watch it in syndication. I will always love ER! Dr. Mark Greene was the most realistic of ER doctors ever on a TV show. For most of the first seasons all the doctors and nurses and staff were believable for the time. Toward the middle and end of the series they began casting some people who just didn't come across as believable as doctors, but the writing never failed. Certain episodes I've saved on my DVR; the attack on John Carter and Lucy Knight as well as the following episode of their surgeries and Lucy's subsequent death, all the episodes leading up to Mark's death, his ghost walking through the empty ER being my favorite of ALL! But I also saved the episodes of Luka's experience in the Congo when he came very close to being executed while on his knees. Then there was the lovely Dr. Robert Ramano being squished like the roach he was. Paul McCrane is one HELL of an actor! But then, they all are. I saved these very special episodes so I can watch them whenever I like. Love the show, love the characters, each and every one!

Ain’t that the goddamn truth. I just made it to the series finale, been binge watching since January and I couldn’t agree with you more about Greene and Carter. Carter is my favorite of all the characters
I can't watch the two episodes where Dr. Greene dies. Too emotional for me. Otherwise, I've watch every episode of every season multiple times thru the years.
I'm Binge-watching ER right now on HBOMAX as we speak and this is show to me is so Awe-inspiring who needs Grey's Anatomy when you got the best original medical drama of all time.
Only now knowing that was not exist an classic intro to seasons 13 to 15 with exception of the last episode. What a crime! The theme of James Newton Howard is so iconic, how they have the courage of remove it??? No words for this! The intro of "ER" (here in Brazil called "Plantão Médico") is one of the best of the history.
By season 13 (mid 2000s), almost no show had an opening theme song anymore. It took too much airtime, as 60 minute shows went from a standard of 44 minutes down to 42/43 minutes to make way for more commercials. Rather than eliminating time for the episode, opening theme songs were eliminated.
The ER intro song is the greatest of any show to me, I just can't get enough of it. My favorite intros will always be the ones from S6 & S7 because that's when I started whatching the show, and that's where most of my favorite characters are featured, but I honestly love them all. I do remember crying when I saw the first intro without Anthony Edwards in it, but I'm glad they kept showing his shadow in it, because somehow it validated that he was ER's soul to me. I love this channel. Thank you for existing.
It doesn't seem so impressive by today's standards, but this intro and the production values were next-level at the time. It seemed futuristic and was ahead of the way everything else on TV looked. It had a completely different feel. It made "Chicago Hope" seem boring and unrealistic. This show felt REAL because Michael Crichton had lived this experience as a young doctor. That extended to the camera movement on the show with so many handheld shots. It was groundbreaking and compelling television. This show was such a ratings bonanza for NBC that it aired for 15 seasons. Fifteen! When it finally went off the air in 2009 (!), they didn't know what to do at 10 p.m. and just put Jay Leno there. Because it was so widely viewed, many viewers came to rely on the show for medical advice, which meant they had to tighten up their scientific accuracy so they didn't accidentally lead people with real medical problems astray. It actually became educational for a lot of people, even though that was not what NBC/Crichton/Spielberg originally set out to do with it.
And in the End from Season 15 Episode 22. I loved how they brought back the original opening with a lot of the original clips from the first season or first season they were in (Alex Kingston). When it aired the first time I remember being so excited that the old intro was back. I hated and still do the shorter opening.
It’s interesting to see the actors move up in prominence such as Noah Wyle who starts 4th and slowly moves into 1st as others leave. Whereas Goran Visnjic goes straight from 4th to 1st.
Wonderful show. I use to work in the medical records department at Bristol Regional Medical center at night. As I was delivering records to the ER this would be playing on the TV'S in the waiting rooms
I just finished the show for the first time. Oddly enough, I didn't get too emotional while watching the finale itself, but listening to this video, I'm feeling a little choked up. I want to start watching a similar show, but I don't think any medical drama will compare. I might just have to start ER again!
This is terrific to have them all together. Thank you. I never liked when they changed George’s credit clip to Doug rounding the corner doing that frown. Anthony’s was so great, it always took me back to the pilot. I wish they’d left George’s alone also.
I like how the 0:22 section of the intro has always stayed. To me it represents and hang with me now, the surgeon as a Christ figure coming in to save people and LITERALLY walking on water in those brief seconds. Editors and producers don't just leave things for no reason and I like to think this was specifically filmed for good reason, hence its longevity in the opening.
What I found interesting was that after Mark Greene died, you could see that Carter was becoming more and more like Mark. Carter filled the void of leadership that was missing after Greene passed away.
This opening, this song, this filming, this editing, the cast of characters from the first show to the last, is absolutely ASTOUNDING. To watch Noah's character grow from a floundering newbie to the E.R. boss was incredible. I'll never forget the first season when Clooney's character looks at a guy who abused his kid, called the Cops, and yelled at him simply, "He's a LITTLE KID!!" After watching Freaks and Geeks, to see Linda Cardellini added to it was a T.V. HIGH that I will not forget to this day. 🧡🖤
Kudos for this compilation of the various opening sequences!! This was one of the best shows on television, along with one of the best themes in television history! I didn't like it when the opening theme was dropped. To me that was part of ER!! There will never be a hospital drama on T.V. that compares to ER. That show tackled a lot of issues. Thanks to POP...I recorded every Episode so I could watch it over and over. My favorite intro has to be the one after the pilot intro... Thank you for this video!!
Seeing the finale return with the OG theme was exactly what the series needed to close out on. It would be nice to See ER again, maybe following Rachel through her life as an ER doctor in a more modern ER, still located in Chicago, still Cook county General (But the updated and new one opened in 06 instead of the original one). Capturing the same elements. The rushes, the traumas, the slow days, the weird people who come in needing help. It probably would never happen. But man, this show really captured things well.
The growth of this channel has been excellent, but I had no idea you were anywhere near 1000 subs!! Congrats on this outstanding achievement and keep up the great work! I love the videos, and I am sure I am not alone on that.
You guys really know the fans!!! On my country some episodes were randomly screened so when I saw the intro I can tell which season I was about to watched 😊
10 dislikes from Morgenstern, Hicks, Anspaugh, Jerry, Randi, Chuny, Halet, Connie, Yoshi, and Lydia for being in more episodes than some cast in the theme and yet never making it to the theme
I think Chuny, Haley Frank and Jerry deserved to be in opening credit for as long as they were in that show. I'd rather have Morgernstern and Anspaugh be part of credit than Romano. I never cared for him.
Bentons iconic punch should have been left were it was,as in season 1, Even when he left, It was the pinnacle of the opening titles.Glad to see him back in his rightful position at the end tho!
I feel like they never got the intro just right. The credits were often mismatched on the screen, the timing of the Benton punch with the piano hit varied, and the pacing changed. I do like the “hard” intro start and the softer “bells” start.
I remember begging my parents to let me stay up and watch this with them in the evening, now I’m a Firefighter/EMT. This show sparked my interest in the medical field and pre hospital care.
Thanks a lot. My mom and aunt did love this drama really. I can remember the days which i saw this dramas with them. so, I would like to thank those who associated with this drama to give me memories with them, from Japan. (I'm sorry not to have a good command of English)
Erik Palladino as DR DAVE was always great. Coming in after Lucys tragedy to provide that bit of off the wallness thru s7 - his firing in s8 was a serious downer. But then the rest of s8 went thru the roof. My fave episode - FREEFALL of course - because its so batshit crazy. Theres a reason there was a 3m spike in figures - coz it was AWESOME
Years ago I went to an EDM concert here in my hometown, local artists and stuff. This one dude remixed the ER theme into a hell of a banger. God I love this show.

What I found interesting was that after Mark Greene died, you could see that Carter was becoming more and more like Mark. Carter filled the void of leadership that was missing after Greene passed away.
@@daltonjohnson38 He set the tone. ☺️
He was the rockstar
This opening, this song, this filming, this editing, the cast of characters from the first show to the last, is absolutely ASTOUNDING. To watch Noah's character grow from a floundering newbie to the E.R. boss was incredible. I'll never forget the first season when Clooney's character looks at a guy who abused his kid, called the Cops, and yelled at him simply, "He's a LITTLE KID!!" After watching Freaks and Geeks, to see Linda Cardellini added to it was a T.V. HIGH that I will not forget to this day. 🧡🖤
I love how Kellie Martin's run is almost in-sync with the music. I wonder if that was intentional from the opening title producers.
I always wanted something like this for ER! Thank you so much! It's incredible!
Season 6 when Eriq La Salle's iconic punch shot lines up with the music PERFECTLY!!
ER definitely is a medical drama that did not overstay its welcome, unlike Grey's Anatomy.
It is fitting that they return with the original opening Title sequence in the series' final episode.
Liked this series from the beginning, then my mother passed and l couldn't bring myself to watch it anymore.
This Show Will Serve As A Good Memory That You And Your Mother A Had An Experience On. My Condolences 🙏
@@Alpha-0014No.
Who would've ever believed that Soul-Glo and Uncle Jesse would be on the same show.
Sharif Atkins’s clip is very epic and underrated.
Maria Bello & Erik Paladino are probably the most useless casts that ever made it to the opening sequence lol
I think Chuny, Haley Frank and Jerry deserved to be in opening credit for as long as they were in that show.
I'd rather have Morgernstern and Anspaugh be part of credit than Romano. I never cared for him.
@@saradorris3554Hell, Frank's actor was a veteran I heard.
@@dannythomas417 cool!
I LIKE ALL OF THEM
I just ordered the complete series of ER off ebay.
Excellent job compilating. Thanks a lot 👍😎🎬
Einer der besten US Serien die ich je gesehen habe!!!
When we listen this on TV, we know is time to sleep kkkkk good times, very very good times
Love it, love it, Love it !
Dr Greene....Set the tone Carter
I miss this theme song. So much passion was in this theme song. When my mom was rushed to the ER before she died, this song was on my mind
I guess I never got that far on ER but I never knew Angela Basset was on!! Time to watch all the way through!
Paul mccranes entrance startinf in seaon 9 ws perfect
So many memories of watching this show with my dad as a kid and the first medics drama I remember watching
I didn't realize there were so many variations of the intro. Very subtle changes, but definitely different!
Thank you so much.. This was a great show..
Season 6 was crazy with so many cast additions and departures of Kellie Martin and Julianna Margulies.
Those changes were parodied on _MADtv_
Starring Anthony Edwards ❤️ the welcoming card to my childhood memories
The greatest medical drama series ever!!!!
Bentons iconic punch should have been left were it was,as in season 1, Even when he left, It was the pinnacle of the opening titles.Glad to see him back in his rightful position at the end tho!
I called it my Happy music. Loved revisiting the show on POP with my daughter. Started watching again recently
One of the best shows, theme songs ever. It was punch in the gut when Anthony's chair roll was gone. Great show🫶🥰
This is incredible!! I love ER
New sub :D
I feel like they never got the intro just right. The credits were often mismatched on the screen, the timing of the Benton punch with the piano hit varied, and the pacing changed. I do like the “hard” intro start and the softer “bells” start.
7:10 - when the hype train is pulling into the station
I remember begging my parents to let me stay up and watch this with them in the evening, now I’m a Firefighter/EMT. This show sparked my interest in the medical field and pre hospital care.
Omg ....... Such lovely memories
Mi.serie favorita!!!!! La veo en Internet . Saludos desde buenos Aires Argentina
When I was a kid in the late 90s/ early 2000s, I thought this show was real life like a documantary- I called it the hospital show!
now I learned the music by heart
Sensacional!! Eu amo ER e adorei esse compilado com as aberturas das temporadas. Nossa ficou muito show! Parabéns 👏👏👏
Nicely done! Thank you!
Thanks a lot.
My mom and aunt did love this drama really.
I can remember the days which i saw this dramas with them.
so, I would like to thank those who associated with this drama to give me memories with them, from Japan.
(I'm sorry not to have a good command of English)
Congrats on 1k subs!
Most beautiful tv series theme i heard in 2021 💪👍✌😇 😍
Benton last episode:
Carter: its because of you i'm a good doctor
Benton: No you're not, but keep trying.
🙂🙂
I like the intro at 9:03 the best. They're missing the gurney, but it is still the best one.
ER Gran y enorme serie, exitosa también en Uruguay dónde Canal 12 la transmitía en los 90 y también en los 2000.
Doctor Greene and doctor Lewis are the heart of er!
This really was peak TV. Unparalleled at the time.
it really was a great time
La mejor serie de todos los tiempos.me encanta bien hecha y con muy buenos actores.
I Love You ER!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
So do I! Always will! And I'm a nurse. ❤
The names need to be in sequence the video. The music is awesome!
"You set the Tone",Dr.Green!!
