Chance has the lead and also wrote the song. Tim is singing an octave below Chance during the chorus, including in the beginning, and bridge. Love your reactions! Thanks again!
Thankyou for sharing and the kind words Dani 😊
You need to listen to the live launch . The boys sound even lower.
Chance wrote a BANGER!!! The talent is endless in this group!! Adam Chance on lead, Adam Rupp is beatboxer. ❤
Really great song!
Chance was playing guitar Austin was playing mandolin and Adam with his amazing beatboxing Tim and his low bass and Austin and Rob harmonizing can’t get better that that
They sang a shorter version live at Ubisoft Live Premiere .
Thank yoi for sharing that information 😊
Great reactions, lads. Chance wrote and sang lead on this. If you get a chance, there is a live version of this. It's not as long, but Tim goes down to Davey Jones's locker in it!
He sure does. & Chance is quick on Tim's heels..😉🥰
Thats amazing. We will have to check it out
Chance is singing the lead und Tim is singing the octave below him. That surely freaked a few gamers out who didn't know the group. Chance is playing guitar and Austin the mandolin. And Adam is doing all the Adam stuff
Adam stuff... yep! 😂❤❤❤❤❤
Gotta love Adam doing Adam stuff 😂 thank you for sharing
You should watch the live version. That beginning is Chance and Tim doing a double bass. Yes, Tim goes deeper, but Chance can go very deep, too. #HomeFree
Mad respect to Chance for him bulling it out of the bag
Home Free is so talented. They can do any genre of music. That was so much fun to listen to. Chance loves sea shanties & he wrote this song for the game "Skull & Bones". His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion. I'm not a gamer but I love this. There is also a shorter live version of this song which sounds great!
They certainly are an amazing group
Hope you'll check out their mashup Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks. It's incredible. It's an older video (with Chris Rupp instead of Chance). But the arrangement is brilliant, and they continue to do it in concerts.
Thank you for the recommendation 😊
Obisoft wants now to put this song into the actual game, that's how much they loved it. This song was only supposed to be use for the advertisement for the game. Tim and Chance are both singing at the very beginning, but then just to Chance as lead singer. This song Chance is playing the guitar, the rest is Adam. Great reaction guys . Suggestions Snap Back, Dive Bar Saints (original) Dreamer (original), Good Ole Boy Good Time
Also Austin on mandolin.
It's defintely brought some good hype.to the game 😊
Chance plays the guitar and Austin plays the mandolin in this one and chance sings lead. Really enjoying your channel. The release date for the game was suppose to be August 2023,
Thank you for your comment 😊 haha yeah slightly behind scedule
Chance plays guitar and Austin plays mandolin in this.
Love that
Chance also plays guitar on Born in the USA cover
Can't wait to hear more from him tbf
They did this live on their recent tour in Europe and Chance played the guitarr.
Love that. Will have to check it out
# Home Free Only 2 instruments a guitar and a mandolin, the lead on this one is Chance and he wrote it too.
Mad respect to Chance for this one
OH YEA, ADAM'S DOING SKULL AND BONES ALONG WITH THE BEAT😂
Ubisoft contacted them to write a song for a game. Chance wrote and is the lead in the song. Adam Rupp kills the beatboxing.💗💗
They are very talented. Mad respect to them
During their recent European Tour in September, the did their live performance premiere of this song in Oslo, Norway and there is a full video of them performing it on UA-cam. Chance opens by playing his guitar.
Mad respect to them for it
I read something about the game release the other day. It’s been delayed to late 2024/early 2025. It seems that the whomever is leading the charge, they have to keep replacing them last minute. The song is awesome, and the guys did a phenomenal job with it! Great reaction! You two are entertaining!
The update I saw a couple of days ago said the first quarter of 2024.
The track itself has done wanders for the game tbg 😊
@@carinalindberg7377 I had the release date confused with something else. You are correct! Thanks!
Ubisoft actually asked Home Free to write this. Chance did a great job singing this. Chance was the bass in his former group. Chance goes very low actually. He is a huge sea shanty fan. He wrote this one. Adam (the beatboxer) sings the line Skull & Bones. They are using instruments here. They occasionally have instruments in their songs. Like Born I'm The USA and So Long Dixie
If they do use instruments you will see them in the video.
@@donnaflynn9615 yep and you do. As a matter of fact as you probably know in this live one Chance plays guitar and Austin plays the mandolin
Nothing wrong with using instruments if they feel that's what that track needs. It's creating art and you shouldn't have barriers 😊
YES, ADAM IS DOING THE MASSIVE HEAVY BEAT, CHANCE ON THE GUITAR AND AUSTIN ON THE MANDOLIN
Love it
If Home Free uses an instrument you will see it…..fun reaction #HomeFree
I like that though. They are group and they do what they want to for their art
Chance was the bass in the group he was with before joining Home Free. We have 2 basses in the group (3 if you count how low Adam can go sonetimes).
He is impressive. We will have to hear more from him.😊
What a fantastic song this is. I see images of the old days where the pirates all sang together on their ship. So incredible performance.
A totally different sound but again so great.
I would like Chance to write more often for Home Free. Home Free can just sing anything.
Chances lead with his perfect low voice for this,
Tim's slightly lower voice that goes so well with Chance's. Adam who also contributes to the bass, but also shows the undisputed beatboxer / vocal percussionist / vocal artist.
Austin who also plays a musical part but then gets into it vocally with his powerful voice. And then Rob who clearly shows his rich opera voice here.
And then that harmony that sounds so beautiful. (Watch the live performance)
That sounds amazing 😊 thank you for sharing
The live version is better in my opinion. Chance is the lead on this but Adam Rupp is the beatboxer but they can all beatbox. You should watch the live version of 9 to 5.
We will have to check it out 😊
#homefree ❤
💯
#HOMEFREE
💯
try the live version of this even though its short, Chance has the lead , Adam Rupp is the beat boxer , chance is the baritone/bass
We will check it out 😊
Adam chance on guitar Austin on mandolin
Love that! We will have to see the live version
There is a live version, it's great.
We will check it out 😊
That was Tim and Chance on the opening and then Chance was the lead singer. Chance played the guitar and Austin played a mandolin for the opening.#HomeFree
Mad respect to them to them for it
They have had instruments in previous songs when the featured artist have used them.
Art shouldn't have barriers so respect to them for it
The live is AWESOME!
We will need to check it out 😊
#homefree ❤❤❤❤
💯
Home Free has five exceptionally talented men!
Facts 😊
BROTHER (LARPING) AND WORKIN FOR A LIVIN FANTASTIC VIDEOS BY HOME FREE
Gotta love the life
You'll see Austin and Chance playing instruments if you watch the live version.
We will have to check it out
#homefree
💯
You need to watch the live version done in Berlin where Tim pays tribute to Chance!
We will check it out 😊
I'm enjoying y'all's reactions!
Thank you so much Robin 😊
Chance plays the guitar in BORN IN THE USA. An old song from Bruce Springsteen. Need to check that out also. #homefree
We will have to check it out
Here for you.
Sorry I was late.

Never apologise Dawn. Your support is always appreciated 😊

💯
Chance wrote it for the game and it's definitely him singing it.
Mad respect to him for it
It’s Chance who sings the lead…he also wrote the song for Ubisoft…for their game. They saw & heard the video “SEA SHANTY MEDLEY”…. &, contracted them to write the song you now heard for the game. He’s a sea shanty fan.
Mad respect to him for it
Chance playing a guitar and Austin playing a mandolin
Thank you for sharing
#HomeFree Chance and Tim two part Bass/Baritone on the low intro, but Chance on the lead.
Thank you for sharing
The live version for the reveal is actually not fully live, they use a backing track for that one because the powers be didn't trust them to pull it off live. If you want to see them do it live for real look for one of the videos from the European Tour where they premiered it live on tour. I believe there are several to find from various locations around Europe.
Yes, it's Chance singing lead and he wrote the song as he's the sea shanty enthusiast of the band, and they do use instruments for this one. In the recorded version they use a guitar and a mandolin, but live they only use a guitar.
We will have to check it out 😊 Thank yoi for sharing
I'm so proud of Chance! He wrote a great one with this!! #Homefree
He did the group proud on this one
Adam Chance did an AMAZING job writing this one❤
He definitely did 😊
Great original by Chance! Home Free never disappoints!
Truth!
the opening is tim AND adam Chance
Love it
Chance is baritone/bass. He wrote the song and is singing lead. Tim, Chance and Adam Rupp were all singing bass at the beginning of the song. Adam was singing a bass drone I think
Thank you for sharing 😊
I don't know if you read my comment on Rob and and answering your question about female acapella groups. It's on your previous video
Chance wrote this sea shanty. He loves sea shanties and persuaded the guys to do the Sra Shanty Medley during lockdown. It became viral on TikTok especially in Asia. People we're using it for dance challenges.
Chance is t doing the lead. The intro is Chance singing with Tim singing at a lower range. Chance is playing a guitar, Adam is beatboxing, and Austin is playing a mandolin. The few times that Home Free uses instructions, the instruments are apparent. Chance and Austin use instruments during the live performances of this song.
We do try our best to read and reply to every comment where we can and we appreciate you for sharing that information and helping us understand it better 😊 It's good that it went viral and brought them a larger fan base
@@highlyreactivereactions I wasn't fussing. The comment on the previous video simply answered some of your questions. . It was too long to rewrite . Enjoy your reactions. Lol
Home Free has used instruments before, they do not hide them from their audience. If an instrument is being used in the song, you'll see them in their videos too. All of the guys can play, Adam Rupp the beatboxer has a degree in music, he's amazing at playing the trumpet.
I respect that tbf Sherry 😊
Forgot to mention that I love your reactions to my favorite guys, & I've subbed for more Home Free content. Pretty sure the two of you are well on your way to becoming a Home Fry, take care & I look forward to watching more of your reactions in the near future!! 🎶🍟🎶
Great reaction ! That was Chance with the lead and Tim backing him up. We need to get you guys more familiar with Chance and his voice that drives the ladies wild sometimes....a few of his leads are.... Cover Me Up (very special video where you have to keep watching after the music...trust me you'll want to see it), Think a little less (a Michael Ray cover), Dive Bar Saints (an original written for them by Arliss Allbriitton a Grammy Nominated songwriter in Nashville)
Thank you for the kind words and sharing that information 😊
It is Chance singing lead and playing guitar. Tim is doing the low notes and Adam is beat boxing. While Austin and Rob are doing the background
Thank you for sharing
Home Free sometimes uses instruments. Their original song, So Long Dixie featured Chris Chatham on guitar. Born In The USA had guitar too. They will show the instruments when they use them.
All the respect for them for using it
# Home Free
💯
Aaaarggghhh. A pirate’s life for me. Love this song!!! Yeah it gets you in the mood. Chance came up with the idea of the sea shanty medley during Covid and it went viral. It caught the attention of Ubisoft and they asked Home Free to write a song for their game Skull and Bones. Chance wrote the song and sings lead and plays guitar. There is a mandolin playing also but Adam Rupp is doing the drums. Tim is the deepest bass and if you listen carefully he’s going real low. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and not Chance although all the guys can beatbox to a degree. For instance Austin (redhead) can also do a harmonica. Tim can do some wacky bird sounds. Rob (glasses) can whistle like a dream. 💀☠😃
It is defintely an amazing song. Thank you for sharing that information 😊
You mention loving Gaming and you obviously love Home Free, so you should check out another A Cappella group, Voiceplay and their version of both “Halo” and “Skyrim!” Both are EPIC!! And, no, it’s not a competition. In fact, Tim(bass) from HF and Geoff(bass) from VP have worked together on techniques and Layne(beatboxer) from VP has helped with arrangements on Home Free songs/videos. Just suggesting another rabbit hole to joyously dive down!!
Thank you for those recommendations. We will have to check them out
The "Yo Ho" is double bass by both Tim and Chance, about an octave apart.. You need to watch the live performance at the video game convention.
We will have to check it out 😊
Adam Chance is singing now. He's not as low as Tim.
He's defintely got some skills though
Gotta do the live version. 😉🫠🥰
We will check it out 😊
🔥🔥🔥🤠 Great reaction.
Thank you so much 😊
This is so very awesome! So much talent in 5 guys. It is incredible! Love your reactions!
Thanks so much and we fully agree
Try. "Do You Hear What I Hear" Adam Rupp arranged it.
Thank you for the recommendation
Chance is “technically” the groups baritone, however he sings bass quite well.
He does it very well tbf 👏
Great reaction guys. I really enjoyed this one.
Thank you so much 😁
listen the background by skulls & Bones...where all the sings in the background
Yeah we did notice that. Beautiful
Adam Chance plays the guitar
We respect that
Adam Chance is singing itandhes the baritone. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer
Very talented artists
DUDE!!! The graphics are AMAZING!!! And the song just enhanced the experience!! Great reaction!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
SO proud of Home Free! With them tackling this project with Ubisoft, maybe they'll finally begin to get the exposure and accolades they deserve❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #homefree
They defintely deserve the exposure. Amazing group
Chance was singing the Low that you though was Tim.
Yeah Chance impressed us with this one
Thanks again for another great reaction.
Thank you so much 😊
Good, enthusiastic reaction, gentlemen! Y'all being gamers made the reaction more interesting. (I'm not, but the video made me want to!) I really would have loved to see the audience's reaction at the Ubisoft reveal.
Thank you for the kind words Brenda and it defintely sells the game to us 😊
There is a new live version from Oslo Norway that is absolutely stunning. Yes they use a guitar in it.
We have recorded that and will be out soon 😊
Before he joined Home Free, Chance sang bass with Street Corner Symphony. I think he has extended his lower range since joining HF. Of course, while his 'official' position is baritone, he often sings bass with HF. He can also do a good tenor, same as Tim. The broad ranges of the whole group allow them to make so many combinations.
Thats amazing. Thank you for sharing
At the start it was actually Tim, Adam Chance and Adam Rupp, most of the solo part was Chance and rest joined in
Love that
Chance wrote this song and sings lead as well as play Guitar Austin plays Electric Mandolin.
Thank you for sharing 😊
This is Chance singing, and he wrote it! This is also one of the rare appearances they make WITH a few instruments. But, the beat and drums is still all Adam. Chance is strumming a guitar, and Austin plays a bit on the mandolin, as I'm sure a few Home Fries have already told you.
Mad respect to him for this. We did check the live version out aswell. Impressive
#Homefree Tune sticks in your head!
Facts
No, it's Chance.
Thats amazing
There are 2 live versions (the latter of which was taken on their recent European tour: ua-cam.com/video/vjn0IsnpEUo/v-deo.htmlsi=H7GBPVPv2HTgBy0H). Tim says by way of introduction\that Chance was always into sea shanties so when Ubisoft called wanting them to write a song for their new game, they knew just which one of them to write it (Tim, Austin & Chance are each song writers). Chance sings lead & plays guitar on it.
Thank you for sharing. We will have to check it out
🤟☠️🤟
Chance Is singing lead
Respect to him for it aswell
This is actually Chance singing and playing the guitar. He is a natural bass. He has what I call a smooth whiskey voice. They do it exactly the same live.
Haha I like that
Chance wrote this and he's the one taking the lead. It's easy to get Adam Rupp and Adam Chance mixed up. Adam Rupp (called Adam) is the beat boxer. Adam Chance (called Chance) is their baritone.
Thank you for sharing 😊
The first bit of this is Chance and Tim but then it's just Chance doing the lead. The live version goes even lower and you can see Tim looking at Chance with a bit of pride because he did so well. There is a guitar played by Chance and a mandolin played by Austin.
Thank you for sharing
# HOME FREE
💯
Did anyone notice when a reactor says”but I might be wrong” they almost always are?.
I love Home Free, they are such a great group! The other two acapella groups that have been suggested to you are well worth listening to as well. For more Home Free you should check out the Butts Remix, Hillbilly Bone, or Mayday. If you like the pirate vibe you should check out VoicePlay's cover of Hoist the Colors or Drunken Sailor, or for more of a viking feel Valhalla Calling. Pentatonix is amazing as well, Hallelujah, Sound of Silence, Daft Punk Medley and Bohemian Rhapsody are some of their biggest hits. You can't go wrong with any of these groups. As far as which group is the best, it depends on your personal preference.
Butt's Remix coming very soon to the channel. Thank you for those recommendations
#homefree is the ABSOLUTE best!!!
Fully agree ☺️
Chance is singing the lead with Tim singing an Octave below.
Love that
☠🍟
I bought the game because of the song. It’s still not out yet, it’s been delayed for a while.
Haha yeah contant delays with it so far 😂
I read that Ubisoft is actually going to recode and include Home Frees song Into Game play ! Way to go Chance ! The Instruments are in because this was a bought and paid for commission for Ubisoft.
Glad Ubisoft are recognising the talent they have
Here is the live version. Chance is the primary singer in the song. ua-cam.com/video/P_2T99BQt04/v-deo.html
We actually did the live version on out playlist ☺️
If you really want to see something to help you with understanding their tricks and skills, watch Mayday
That recommendation is on our channel. Very amazing!
@@highlyreactivereactions i actually fpund it a little while later as i was going through your videos oldest to latest. Kept me very entertained dur8ng a slow work day. Thank you!
I think Chance and Tim are trading back and forth with Chance doing the verses and Tim just doing the super low.
It had the skills and talent 😊
