My dad was an air ambulance pilot back in the 70s. He used to fly a king air a Navajo and a Baron with his job. Before that, he flew in the Canadian Air Force and a mask, a total of just under 17000 hours. I love to fly simulators and want to get into multi-engine. Thx and stay proficient.

Probably one of your best videos Valerie! Even though it was difficult to see at night, it was pretty fantastic! Antiquers is almost invisible at night too, but I guess when you know the area well, then flying in and out of there is pretty easy. Loving the views of the area at night. I really must get back across the Pond to your neck of the woods again! Tower was awesome and so glad you got the help you needed to complete the currency flight. Some really good video capture too! Always enjoy watching your videos and learning more from you each time.

The modest light sensitivity of the gopros make it more intense. Nice big synthetic vision display should make it easy to find runways in zero visibility although Antiquers is so narrow with tall trees you probably have to see it somehow. Including animals :)

Always love your work. I know that you are very dedicated to currency, professionalism and safety and I am sure that it was just a slip of the tongue, but take a look at around the 10:30 mark on your video when you are reviewing the engine out procedures on take off and you are calling out mixture/prop/throttle from right left as you move your hand across the quadrant, when actually in the Baron I believe it is set up as mixture/throttle/prop (when moving from right to left). In no way am I calling you out or criticizing you or your technique, but sometimes at night when a lot of things are running through the brain and tension is a bit elevated, little things can get by us. It matters way more that we execute the procedure properly than get the callouts proper but unfortunately sometimes are actions follow the words that come from our mouth as the brain is programmed that way. If I am mistaken, my apologies. Keep up the amazing work. Merci de Montréal.
I appreciate your feedback. I’ve trained in a 310 and the mixture prop throttle was in that order. I’m fully aware of the difference in the Baron. Everything comes forward if there’s an engine failure. When I point out identify- verify - feather , I also understand where there are. We painted the black knobs too so I can have a red mixture knob and a blue prop knob. I am not perfect but I sure strive to be and your comment is constructive. I might retrain my sequence so there’s no confusion. All the best and I appreciate you stopping by! ✈️💫
