Feel bad for the people who have been waiting for this since it was announced. I got into Hollow Knight last September and only found out about Silksong a few weeks back. @@AdAstraPerAsperae I do, the game is awesome, it's atmosphere is relaxing (and quite depressing), the combat is simple and fluid and the music match so well in every environment, I also liked the mechanics of magic and the souls like system where you need to defeat your shadow to recover.

I wouldn't mind if Hollow Knight turned into a long running franchise of excellent metroidvanias.
I would... It happens pretty often, that certain franchises are really epic, when the first 2-3 games come out, and after that, the creators just start lacking of creativity and start to create new games and stuff, just for the sake of money, and not for the sake of having fun at creating games. @@Umbrella2 I've been at the same exact spot. I am still not the perfect person I've always dreamed of but I can tell you I am really happy with just being myself and doing things I like. You don't need to be inteligent. Just find a way to be just a bit better than you were last year. You'll make it.

I remember them saying in a video or smth that the footage recorded for the trailer was the first time they got to play the game. But they also mentioned that the core game is finished and that they're currently polishing it in an interview from early 2021. I hope Silksong will release around christmas this year.

@@corruptionman3327 they said its a sequel in the desc of thier details video though not a prequel. i Also don't know why they would do nothing with the godmaster ending since i stand by the belief it was made because of this game, as they were being developed at the same time, and they somehow thought that Embrace the void made more sense for this game.
