Hello, sir. I need your help with my light switch replacement please.
I did a DIY for two single light switches - on concrete and on drywall. The bottom part of the new light switch panel won't screw all the way through. It's kinda loose. The upper screws seem okay and are flat against the wall, only the lower ones aren't.
After I put the switch covers on, there's a noticeable little gap behind the wall - on the MID to the LOWER part.
Your video is helpful and I'm sure it will solve my issue but I'm afraid I won't be able to do it. I don't have a jack hammer and I am not sure if a chisel will do the job. I'm afraid I will damage the house if I try to change the junction box. Is there another way?

Have you tried changing the screws for the bottom part -- the threads might have been loose? Also make sure that the entire junction box is evenly flushed against the wall -- so that when you put on the switch panel, it seats evenly from top to bottom. Try wiggling the junction box to adjust its angle somewhat so it is flushed against the wall from top to bottom.

I would have cut a bigger hole in the concrete.

Why not replace just the switch and cover for something new?

Because the cover and its bracket needs a compatible housing or junction box to properly mount to.
