I have a step by step guide to fixing PS4 PlayStation Store Not working- Please Wait error
Please backup all Important Data files before this Fix
My only fix was to turn the PlayStation to Safe Mode, Hold the on button , press at front of unit, - next to disc slot, hold for approx 7 seconds wait for second beep, then touch again to turn back on, if successful, Ps4 will turn on in safe Mode,
First you can try Rebuild Database, option #5, if this doesn't work , try #6- Initalize Ps4
i tried this and my Playstion Store laoding, no more Please wait on screen

Product Patrol hey you can just delete your account and then make the account again and then bam, everything is back to normal. but the downside is you lose all your offline progress, like campain, But still keep all progress online

This just started happening for me and nothing I've tried besides initializing the console seems to work. Really sucks that I might have to completely initialize my console just because something randomly stopped working

Thank you sir! I was on the phone with ps tech support for this same issue for a whole hour and they were 0 help. Replacing the console under warranty was going to be my next step. Luckily I found your vid, tried restoring my database and the problem was fixed in 2 minutes. Again, thank you!

Go to restore licenses and hit restore. Temporarily disable parental control and it fixed mine

+Blue Eyes i had this issue on my sons PS4, drove me crazy, had to fix it
None of the whole videos on the internet helped me fix my problem which was showing as "please wait.." and it nothing shows up no matter how long you wait then it shows as an error, I also can't sign in to the Playstation Network. It finally worked when I switched back to the original language of my region (France) which I switched language to "English-UK" before. So I just returned it to French and it worked like charm. So before you quit ps4 to Xbox, try this solution. I hope this helps everyone. (there is no video about this fix)

WOW!! This actually worked. The PS store wasn't loading for me anymore and I couldn't access certain features. So I went into the language category and just changed it to another one. It worked. After that I went back to my original language. Already restore the database and it didn't work. Initialization was my last resort. Didn't want to do that. Thanks so much!!! And thank you Product Patrol for this video. Even though I didn't initialize my ps4, your video was still helpful. Once again THANK YOU!!!!

10 out of goddamn 10 sir this is process worked for me, I skipped rebuilding the database and reinitialized in safe mode. I backed all my data to the cloud server and it was all there once I resigned in. thanks so much!

When I go in Safe Mode and try to connect my controller, my controller blinks twice and then nothing happens.(Yes I did plug it in).

Here all you need to do is get a new controller plug
Because that happened to me before and I just bought a new controller plug and it worked fine
Make sure that the USB in plugged into the ps4 and not on an outlet plug.

I did the initialisation but didn't back up my files but not bothered because I mainly play gta 5 online and that's not lost so thank you happy now 😀😀😀

You don't need to do all this, just hold the power button for 7 seconds and once it says connect the controller with a usb just press the power button again and it will restart your ps4 and once it's back on the store will work

I have a really weird problem, everything works, like the information under Playstation store, but when I want to go in playstation store, the 4 symbols load but then they glitch and start over again. And it keeps loading.

I believe you will lose your games, i backed everything on a USB, then reloaded what we needed. after relogging back to Playstation network, all saved stuff, profiles came back. Do not do anything until you back up. You will need to check with Sony help to learn more about what you should on your playstation.

go to settings- application Data saved management- saved data system storage-copy to usb storage device- i recommend this youtube for full instructions - i only did this once so check this person out ua-cam.com/video/5QlwHrL9M80/v-deo.html

+Haris Kamran you will have to put the data files back from usb to the ps4, if you have ps plus subscription i believe everything is backed up if you enable it, game files, i suggest you watch help video on backup

Why do individuals have to fix the ps store problem themselves? Because sony has neglected their duties to satisfy their customers.
To those who want to play online games, I suggest you to switch to Steam. PSN is broken. Valve is thriving.
+crossfire it is frustrating, maybe Ps will learn to satisfy their customers better or they will lose customers with other online competitors, it would of been nice on PSN to provide a common fix to these issues, take care crossfire, check out some other videos
