    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  10 днів тому

      @SlavKing95 ahhh yes, so you're right that 1:3, if you're making a liter, would be about 300ml of product to 700ml of water.
      With GSF people use different amounts because they're trying to get different foam density, or they may not be mixing up a full litre for the job.

    Great video, I must confess in terms of the Ava snow foam bottle I use mine neat and then use the dial, never had an issue. So for instance clay barring I’ll turn it down and do a light snow foam or if a cars quite bad I’ll make a thick snow foam. Absolute genius and saves so much time.

      This is a really good question regarding the compressor. I'd personally go for 100L if it had the chance again, although I would definitely get the silent one as you barely know it's on. I've got a full review of said compressor on my channel and I compared it to the standard one.
      It's alright with the vortex gun, but the Slim's version or the Tornador empties it so quickly. A bit quicker than the genuine Tornador too.

    That was a blooming good watch, i proper enjoyed that, Adrian. I saw your video on PS a while ago and have used it ever since in every interior surface, amazing stuff. I so have a couple of dressings but not really found the sweet spot yet. GT is a nice finish, but get water anywhere near it and it doesnt loom good, Mile Deep is too glossy for me and i have Autobrite but, that too is not what i want, again, a little too much sheen. Could you recommend a good matt one? I'm more interested in the UV than looks. What's the infinity wax priduct like? All the best.

      Glad you enjoyed it dude, and that you're also finding Pol Star to be as good as I am.
      I have got the same issue as you with regards to dressings. I love the look of Dash Serum, but having it on the doors is a real mare isn't it, as it gets wet and goes streaky, same as the footwells. It's superb on the dash itself though.
      The Infinity Wax interior QD is pretty good, definitely a bit shinier than satin, but it seems to work well and you're cleaning and dressing all in one, which is a useful trait.
      You've got me thinking though, I wonder if Plastic Coat from Infinity Wax, their long lasting bumper and trim treatment, would work well on the interior....I shall have to try. Will make a video of course.

    Great video. I’m a bit confounded by the VB dilution? KCX say 1:30-1:50 for pre cleaning.
    2% PiR would be roughly 150-200ml? That closer to 1:5ish. Or have I made a mistake here?

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  5 місяців тому

      Ahhh yes you see 2% PIR is about 1:50 on the panel, but PIR takes into account the volume of water being injected in the flow by the foam lance, and compensates for that.
      PIR sounds really complicated but it's actually very easy to work out, let me know if you need any more pointers on it.

      This is a great question. I find it feels like a decent shampoo to be honest, 50ml in 15L is what I go for and it comes out well. If I am foaming it on (like I've done here) it's 1% PIR so that it feels longer. Which with the setup used here is 100ml in a 1L foam lance bottle. You don't need as much in the bucket because you don't need it to foam as much. It's plenty slick enough for sure.

Still trying to figure out my favorite pre-spray that I wanna use in my detailing business. Most vehicles don't need full strength, so I was curious about your thoughts. Also have you used BH Touch-Less V2 at .05% PIR ? Was wondering how BH stacked up against the 2 products above at the .05% PIR compared to the other two products at 1% PIR. Thanks and love the channel 🏆

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  6 місяців тому +1

      This is a really good question. I'd say Vb is really different to SF, it's more like Garage Therapy Decon as they are both caustic (mildly) where as SF isn't. Vb is an incredibly heavy strength detergent, not quite a TFR though. It's a cracking pre-wash and shampoo, really versatile, you can use it as APC as well. SF is definitely a better snow foam, but this is so flexible all round. I've got a video comparing all three.
