Jesus Christ they torment poor Bob about why he had to sell the truck. Bob tells a sad story and then THEY DON'T GIVE HIM THE TRUCK?!?!?!?! That has to be the ugliest thing I have ever seen! WOW JUST WOW!! Shame on you!!!
As a guy who loves his old car and never wants to sell it, agreed. Don't tease the previous owner with his dream car and show it on camera. ' Besides that, thank you for a good show!
A lot of negativity im the comments, but I loved the episode. I thought the sponsor segment was hilarious, glad the original owner got to drive it once it was done.
16:40 why are people being forced to pay a subscription on MotorTrend On Demand to watch the videos then? I had no problem with the way it was before with the videos showing on Motor Trend On Demand a month before it was shown on youtube like before. I gave the video ta thumb up because its a full episode though. Thank you.
had the same truck 20 some odd years ago down in reno nevada sold it to a guy from carson 58 fleetside apache.............................................awesome
Looks so good and love the stance. When you get tired of the boring LS swaps, come on over to the east coast and make my dream come true of breathing life to either of my 2 Jeeps (60 Willy's CJ5, and my beloved 98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 limited) I have no way of ever seeing the Grand Cherokee from being the beast it once was and then some. I inherited it from my step father (loved him like a real father) and its still got tons of life left in it. I always wanted to get the engine freshened up, maybe a lil ole supercharger for that old school grunt and whine. Upgrade the brakes (its all wheel drive so its murder on brakes with that 5.9 liter Magnum V8) and maybe a vinyl wrap to make it feel more like the brawler it is. Off the line with this 5.9 and AWD its very strong (less than 130k miles on the clock) but it needs a little love. I can't work, so there is no way I will ever get it or that ole 60 willys the way I want them.
God bless you. WTF is it with the lowering bullshit. The only thing more stupid than lowering is the ridiculous effing 36" wide tires on jacked up Silverados. All it takes is a little encouragement I guess.
I'm sorry i stopped watching, way to many adverts and just talking and not even about the car. I used to love this channel. Your going in the right direction again tho.
That sucked you should have given the guys truck back after his story..but then you take him out a teases with it ..his baby moons and Corvette theme was an awesome look for the truck .. it showed originality .. in a nice way now it looks like a gas station service truck ..stickers? Really?
Welll it was an old truck. Now its just another new truck with old emblems. A dime a dozen. Won't be able to tell this truck from the other million new trucks with old emblems. What a joke. It not a "hot rod"
The aftermarket tuning industry isn't strong enough to sponsor visas unless you offer something they can't get by selecting an apprentice from their local high school. Develop your skills at home, build something interesting and publish it online to demonstrate what you can offer. Get involved in local motorsports. Start a blog showing you can understand, analyse and explain various component and subsystem designs. Produce diagrams which communicate the design clearly. Good luck!
Yeah I'd hate to go on a few days road trip with something as unreliable as a vehicle that's managed to stay on the road for 60+ years. Clearly we need to change a bunch of stuff that obviously wasn't working.

😂 Good to see that I wasn't the only person shocked that they didn't give him the truck
Yeah, they should've given it back to him...
Your only getting 10-20 thousand views a video with 6 million subscribers.......
Bring back roadkill
With the money/sponsors y’all have, why didn’t you give him the truck back? Once they make the videos with it it will be forgotten about...

Yesterday I saw the same truck in red color here in Dubai....there is even auction for old American pickups from Chevy , Ford and dodge...
Yes please bring Roadkill back to us !!!!!!! Cannot watch Motor Trend on Demand in my part of the world due to some legal nonsense
I hope they paid old Bob at least 50k for that truck !
Awsome vid. 👍😎 I hope to see more
it would be really nice, if your Sponsor help you more to bring back the car after the show, to the ex owner ! I'm just saying
If I could afford the new LS engine and transmission fully dressed I definitely would. Everything needs a LS swap!

Without watching this completely, can anyone confirm that this "build" has a GMPP crate engine, dakota digital gauges, and a bunch of CPP trash?
Ah, now I know why I can't get enough Jason Scudellari even though I'm sure I would hate him in person... He's a libra too.
I love it
You should´ve given it to the original owner.
Elis Grahn I was thinking the same thing
This is a great idea! Write Sta-Bil!!!
Cool edits!
Bring back road kill
Loved the short side pipes! Where do you get them?
On this episode of making cars that should be high and mighty look small and submissive: an Apache, we actually had enough grit to do it
Dude. Why do people always lower them? They look so dumb lowered.
God bless you. WTF is it with the lowering bullshit. The only thing more stupid than lowering is the ridiculous effing 36" wide tires on jacked up Silverados. All it takes is a little encouragement I guess.
They're trying to match the centre of gravity height they could have achieved with a stock El Camino.
Is the audio terrible on this video or is it just me, sounds real tinny
I’d never seen a 30 minute ad before...
Why is that man using an adjustible spanner..... worst tool for that job!
Illinoi(SSSSSSS)
so who won the Chrysler 300?
I'm sorry but I liked the way that it looked before they did the restoration, just too many stickers.

Cause I’m in Australia I can’t watch roadkill on your stupid subscription thing
Stoped watching when they put LS in it. Boring
Sadly, correctly pronouncing "niche" is a completely untapped niche in the USA.
It rhymes with sheesh.
Welll it was an old truck.
Now its just another new truck with old emblems.
A dime a dozen.
Won't be able to tell this truck from the other million new trucks with old emblems.
What a joke. It not a "hot rod"

To bad it's not a 1957 Chevy Apache with a wrap around back window and with the Namco 4X4 conversion.
