- The full episode of the CPP Super Chevy Week To Wicked is here, where we spend six days building a 1955 Chevy truck entirely from modern parts! Find out how this experiment works in one of our most complex builds yet. #WeekToWicked #ClassicTrucks
great job.. basically a new car.. love the color too.. 🇲🇾
Thank you so much!!!! One of my favorite project cars!!!!! The Perfect Family Cruiser!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! I learned so much!!!!
If you were an adolescent gear head in the 60's and 70's this was your dream car. Fifty years later it still is.
Always been my favorite year. Very nice.
Totally insane!!!love each part amazing!!
A beautiful build!
Wow 🤩
Very sweet build, I have CPP breaks and hydro boost on my 442 and cant recommend them enough!! Works like a 2020.
If I were to have a shop build this same car with the same parts, how much would it cost?
around 200k
CUBIC dollars.
Awesome... but being basically a new car ,I would have been wearing seat belts..
What engine mounts and oil pan were used? Part numbers would be great thanks.
Is it entirely scratch built from reproduction body parts? Does it have a VIN number?
Bayay _
They'd have to work that out with their state DMV. I hear plenty of people have gotten a vehicle registered as the year it appears to be.
Seat Belts?
Exactly what I was gonna say. High powered car with no safety features? Dumb. Reminds of the dolts in high school who argured ( cue Simpsons-like teen voice) " But what If i get in a crash man, and cant' undo my seatbelt.."
They usually thought it was better to be projected through the windshield...
( and then have a 2 ton car roll over them , I presume)
Flame Beats Yeah. Much more important than preserving cars is preserving car enthusiasts.. which seem to be in decline in modern times. I was kinda amazed that most young men I have met don't even have licenses!
Does anyone have a all-in turn-key ballpark number on one of these?
Its a whatever year you bought all the panels chevy, its not a 55. All that money and didnt even dial indicate the center of the pilot shaft. I guess thats why they put a scatter shield on it
How much does a built like that cost
No seat belts?
if you didn't see it in the video it doesn't mean it dont have it
You generally have to adhere to the state of safety for the year of the car. So, legally, not required.
I just dont get all these builds have to be done yesterday. Ridiculous. What is it with all these shows? Supposed to be the drama?
I like the build. Not the drama (so called) though. My spidy sense is tingling and says $100,000 (shrug - if ya got it, spend it).
You guys do such nice builds but then always use those hideous wheels.
This is not the way we real car guy's do this in the real world this is the more money than breans way witch is the wrong way to do this stuff
I am starting to question Christians mechanical skills....lol
Lol the bio is wrong
I have no faith in ponytail whatsoever. Looks like a real amateur.

That is not a 1955 Chevy.
Looks like one but isn't one.
Pass.
It IS one. A better one. Modern and fast!
