@@theworstcatholic7247No, it's a flat boost. Gauntlets, leggings and helm gives 20 physical AR to rolling and their respective "limbs", though you can't attack with head. Armor gives 50 AR, with full set resulting in 110 AR.

Currently using this guide to help me wrap up my first ever SL1 playthrough. Made it all the way to Manus, he's all I have left before it's Gwyn time. Glad to know it isn't just me who struggles with those exact same 3 attacks: the catalyst 2 hit combo (and the one that does it backwards), the overhand slam, and the wall of dark magic. Will go get the silver pendant and try implement some of the extra punishes shown in this video. Edit: Just beat Manus and Gwyn, that's all bosses beaten at sl1!
One thing i've never understood about the Orsntein and Smough fight, is why doesn't the roof fall in? Ornstein and Smough just go around destroying the columns--presumably so you cant hide and power up behind them. In a gothic style building the columns are acting as support and holding up sections of the roof. By all logic after Smough destroys enough of them the whole roof of that room should collapse. But i guess adding in a timed element of destruction to an already tough fight wouldn't be helpful in any way....
@@nssheepster i mean it probably is since DS3 isn't that long after DS1 and Anor Londo is basically just the giant building and Gywndilin fight and rotating tower
