@@zaidali3042 All the taxes pinch, I agree, but compare a serious injury or health issue like heart failure, cancer, etc. You can't even pay half the cost of treatment, from all of your life long savings. And you start earning according to taxes, eventually.

Basement living comes with its challenges. Lack of sunlight is a major one, with just one tiny window, along with it getting very cold in winter.

Those expenses in Canada are almost same as we have here in New Zealand and minimum wage here in NZ is $17.70 per hour.
I don’t know why people are crying that NZ is too expensive. Besides we pay $60-$70 per month for car insurance which is much lower I guess. Also it’s not even mandatory to have insurance here. So basically stop complaining people of NZ.

But look at the rent brother. They are renting a 2 Room house in 1300 per month including all the bills. 325 a week approximate. But in nz you can’t get a 2 room house less than 450 per week excluding all the bills.

finally someone who knows the actual prices of stuff and is keen on "savings". I started my life staying in basement too but it was quite cheaper then.. in 2011 i used to pay 825 for a 2 bedroom basement. anyways i bought my own condo in 2012 and now pay even less . I would highly recommend you guys to think of buying your own condo. Buying a house in Canada is a cakewalk. home loans are really cheap. even with the above calculations of minimum wage you can comfortably buy a 2 bedroom condo and like every other city the prices of property go up over the years in Toronto too. . There are also benefits of being a first time home owner. and if you make better than minimum wage look for town houses or semi detatched homes.. you will save on condo fees too. since I stay alone condo is just fine for me as I never have to shovel the snow off my doorway !!!! you guys are already on a good start when you said your grocery expenses are 500-600 CAD per month.. there are vlogs where people are spending that much for a week !!! Capitalise on fliers and coupons and buy stuff with deals. Just letting you know.. Dollarama is not bad at all for small crockery items and tooth brushes. I buy quite some stuff like buckets, gloves, tooth brushes, doormats, hair clips ect from the Dollarama. Please take advantage of government facilities like CET (center for education and training) for free xerox copies of any document, counsellors for guiding you for any kind of govt related queries. the services here are free. you can even find job vacancies here incase if you are looking to switch jobs.

This video is totally true. I am living in Toronto and having bit similar expenses.
Apart from savings, Canadian government gives lots of tax benefits for minimum income families. Health insurance, child benefits and free schooling is available for all who pays tax here. No need to be PR or citizen.
Another best thing about Canada is job opportunities. The deserving one can get job easily. Just efforts in right direction required!

Sask is much cheaper! in some ways. Apartments here are more like a $1000/mo, maybe $1200... brand new truck car ins for me is $117.. cable is a waste of $, get netflix or something.. internet alone ranges from $50-$120 depending on speed.. and cell phone bout $135/mo.

Thanks Jake & Demy for the information. I confused on the net pay after Tax Dedication. Why it’s 1891 CAD? If company pay $14/Hour then 14*8=$112. If my earning $112 a day then in a week 5 days it will be $112*5days= $560. Now I am taking total working days in a month say 20 days. So the net pay should be $560*20 Days= $11200. Tax should be deduct on this value. Please clear my doubts over here.

Maybe your luck was not good and you might have found some mannerless ones. Mostly we are fun loving and love to welcome our guests. i liked this conversation🙂 but it's too small giving us very little information . anyway i hv few questions.
    what about health insurance?
can you guys give some ideas on monthly child expenditure?

    • @AjayBalharaLive
      @AjayBalharaLive  5 років тому +1

Jigna we don't have kids. Sorry won't be able to give the right info. Provincial health insurance is free. Dental and optometrist are not covered. But many full time jobs get these as benefits from their companies.

14 dollar/hr and both of you work and get 3782 only. According to it you both only work for, 3782/14dollar/hr= 270 hr in a month, 270/2=135 hr/person, 135/24days=5.6 hr only. Is working only for 5.6 hr is enough or their is any restrictions of working hours??

I am looking for moving to Canada..
Rest everything is fine if u compare with New Zealand. But car insurance is quite expensive in Canada.. In New Zealand I am paying annually around 600 $ for a good avg car. But 500 Canadian dollars per month is little bit more for everyone. That's y I think most ppl use public transport there.
But still hvng personal car is always an advantage ..

Informative and well executed video. On mobile handset front i would like to add that many duel sim handsets don't work PERFECTLY in Canada. I faced the problem with my Xiaomi handsets last year. Again coming to Canada but not taking any chances this time so bringing an iphone (to be on the safer side).
I think people should only travel with iphones (go for cheaper models) when going to Canada and USA.
