@@AjayBalharaLive yes I liked it very much .. and also feel grateful ..
This is the first video I’m watching on your channel and I must say it was very helpful especially for electronics.
Also, they way you speak and explain things is very crisp and clear, which is a must in vlogging. Thanks a lot. Will keep on watching more useful videos.
Thank you so much for such a useful video, I haven't seen any other blogger doing demonstration of the electrical appliances.
That's so sweet of you Molino.
Quite Informative! I made a list whilst watching your vlog! However, just one suggestion I would like to add that we usually say “ My wife and I” and not me and my wife according to my knowledge! 😊
Thanks Sneha. I appreciate your knowledge and input. “My wife and I “ it is 😉😉😉
Shaktiman..choti choti magar moti batein....awsome dude..really helps

Another fantastic video from u guys.... The highlight of this video is how u mentioned about things not to bring.... So often ppl only talk about things to bring... So a lovely twist to that.... And that scene post bathroom was way too cute... U guys are couple goals ❤️
Thanks Chrysel
Nice bro. . I likeThe way you speak English neat and clearly. And nice your all videos gives us good knowledge about Canada.
Thanks Vijay
It is really worth watching your videos, u give such useful advices which I can't see in other videos. But tell me more about cooking utensils. Only Induction based cooking range or normal cooker or kadai would do?
To be on safer side induction based is better. Most cooktops are induction based.
Depending on which part of Canada you are moving in east coast or west coast. Majority of population likes to stay in Ontario or BC. If you land in YYZ region of peel you have tons of stores which carry stainless steel utensils also you can get them in flea market around the corner on weekends and off course you can negotiate the price. I came with one luggage by air France as only 1 luggage allowed. Pressure cooker you can get from Canadian tire or subji mandi. Eyewear you can get it here as well if you land up in a job with benefits.
+Tarun M Hi Tarun. Thnx for sharing all the relevant information. i shared my experience. Thanks for sharing yours. I really appreciate it. exchange of information beneficial for everyone across the board.

Nice.. Subscribed :) Hi pls make more videos as students are starting here to Canada.. Restrictions etc
Can we take a backpack also with cabin bag.. Is it allowed
Hi Shiney. I make videos abt our experience in Canada. It usually helps everyone. But , I don't hv any personal experience of being a student, that's why I haven't made any specific video for students.
Hi loved your video
Can you also throw light on home decoration items. Shall we get it from india or Canada is better? Please make a video on it too
It's Ur choice. People hv beautiful homes in Canada and they also decorate it. But if you want to get something traditional Indian decoration then you can get it from home.
Watching again!!!!really excited !!!! cleared the hurdle(IELTS).!!waiting for ITA💓

You both present the topics so well. It's always to the point and crystal clear. Keep rocking Jake n Demi. I also want to request you to please make a video on the formalities one has to go through after landing in Canada. I mean like the paper work at the airport and other registrations.
Thanks , the process is the simplest you will experience. There is absolutely nothing , you go to the Immigration counter and they guide you for everything.

Very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks Mariam 😊😊😊
Your videos are informative ...good to watch keep it up.....just a correction...electrical and electronics are two different group of items ...the kettle , iron , hairdryers etc are electrical items and they definitely work in the range specified ... electronics like your laptop , printers etc will be having adaptors capable of working in range of 100-240v range (check the adaptor rating of device you are using ) and these can be taken from India ..and in India you can get electrical items such as mixers ,iron etc made to work for 110 v but that you need to specify and buy ...now a days Amazon too sells it ... actually mixers and grinders are exported from India to US and European countries...
+Srijith Warrier Hi Srijith. Thanks for the wonderful feedback. i highly appreciate it. i shared my experience about things which i got from India. As you mentioned we all can use adapters and what not , but then again why to go through that pain of putting adapters on everything, when i can buy same things here at an affordable price. The whole idea of the video is to keep ur suitcase light for the flight. My suggestion was related to not buying new things, not about things which you already have. I mean Mac Book is cheaper here, plus you get canadian guarantee with it. so in the long run its better. But again each to his own, if you prefer using adapters on everything then i think you can do that as well.
@@AjayBalharaLive hi ...I understood your point and agree its not wise buying new ones... and adaptors I mean the company one which you get with your laptops etc...not as such buy and use ones....I bet you will be using your laptops with the same chargers which you got from India..thats what I ment ...yeah if we opt to buy new ones from India to take to Canada may be a bad idea as you said...
@@srijithwarrier5476 Yes Srijith you and me are on the same page about using the items that we already have. but by adapters i meant the socket adapters. Because the sockets are different here, they are straight and two points only , so we need universal adapters to plug in every Indian electronic or electricals.
Hey Jake n Demi, hope u both doing really well. My request for both of u is,can u connect any 50hz item to 60hz n show us will it work or not. Coz I have a brand new mixer n I'm planning to get that with me to Canada. M confused now😔
Hi veena, I don't hv any such item, you don't hv much of a choice now. So bring it and see what happens, you ll need two things, one is a universal adapter and other a power converter.
Thank you. You both are just adorable. N Demi u r so cute❤️
Thanks a lot brother very helping video.... God bless you always
thanks Davidson

Hello Jake & Demi,
Thanks for making this video. it was very helpful. You guys also touched upon not to carry electronic items from India. Thus, I wanted to understand if the same applies to carrying a UHD 4k smart led tv as well ? At first we were really keen on getting the tv to Canada but worried about the voltage difference + the tv & cable converter hassles. could you please throw some light on this one if at all we should ship TV sets to Canada ?
I would buy a TV in Canada.
Jake & Demi Thanks!
Can you also throw some light on which areas in Toronto (closer to downtown) are safer to stay ?
Would just describe your video in one word "informative". Keep up the good work and help the new immigrants around the globe.
Thanks Rosy.
Thankuuu so so much for these important tips...Its really very helpful.....☺
What about laptops and mobiles in case of electronic products? Do they work fine there when brought from India
Man I made the video to explain don't buy from India, it's anyways not cheaper than Canada, why do u want fill up your bags and then keep buying connectors for socket and adapters. You are more than welcome if you are ok to deal with that hassle.
May I know you are from which state of India. To be honest, your presentation is really nice. Thumbs up for that.
Thanks Akhil ✌️✌️✌️
Hi Jake an Demi. How are you?? I wanted to ask u that as u mentioned in the video that ur mobile worked and Demi's mobile didn't work so which one was URS . Can u tell me the name of xiomi model which didn't work??thanks in advance
Hi Pooja it's Xaomi Note the new one , and mine is oppo . But even in my phone the 4 g doesn't work, I still hv 3 g network. I am also getting a new phone now.

@@AjayBalharaLive can you please make some more videos on shopping in stores with cost like for groceries etc.
Super brother ...any medicines are there those which we can't carry with us in Canda from India which would be against the law
Been living in north america for past 7 years never been able to find a suit that fits as good as the one I got custom tailored in India. All the people I urge you get your suits from India atleast you can get them custom tailored and the stuff is better as India follows the European clothing standards. A raymond suit which will cost you $400 in India will cost you $2500 in Canada plus taxes so imagine the amount of money you will save. Same goes for formal shirts Indian clothing is just mwaahhhs and its cheaper don't bother buying clothes in America or Canada. The only accessory you should focus on buying in Canada is shoes, sneakers and boots which are unbeatable in America and Canada
Hi Ankit, hope you found the suits now from here or India. I found perfect ones here in Hudson Bay and Moore's. I had two suits customized from Raymond Gurgaon DT Mall Store. I spent 35000 each as well. I believe it's personal choice. Thanks a lot for taking time and adding to our conversation
Jake & Demi No worries happy to chime into discussions such as these which helps people. But Jake and Demi I wouldn’t sincerely recommend Hudson Bay too. Its damn overpriced and most times the stuff you see that’s expensive comes either from India or Italy. I would recommend suits here only if you are going for an Italian make but for all other purposes India is the best 🙂🙂🙂
Thank you! Very helpful
Plz explore & tell us the banking opportunities in canada, in which province.
Hi Arun, Toronto is the Financial District in Canada. There are a lot of job opportunities. You can check what kind of roles banks have by registering yourself in career section of Canadian Banks.

Can I keep hair oil/other oil/ghee/honey in check-in luggage?
If yes.. what is the max level?
Don't get all that. You get Nanak ghee here.
Question - Can apply for PNP BC without job offer? can we say that PNP program is no use if dont have job offer from BC employee?
Question dear, do we must have the prescription for our medicines? Cause some are over the counter medicine.
You don't need prescription for OTC
Laptop would also not get charged easily if we bring from India? ND vry nice video BTW
+Rajveer kaur hi Rajveer. if you hv a laptop, of course you can bring it. you ll hv to buy a universal adapter and put in ur laptop charger. my point is if hv to buy a new one, it makes more sense to buy in canada . laptops are not cheaper in India.

hey jake and Demi, me and my husband are thinking of migrating to Canada. we are in such a dilemma as we are currently living in Australia and due to some visa issue are thinking of migrating to Canada. since you lived in Australia and Canada. You think its worth moving to Canada or try to find some other ways of staying in Australia?
Try for Australia, because After Australia, you might not like Canada in terms of monthly wages and commute, the biggest factor would be the weather.
