Anyone thinking of buying a Corvette, do yourself a favor and buy one with a Manual Transmission! If you don’t know how to drive a manual then learn with the Vette. They are so easy to drive with a manual transmission. Trust me I speak from experience. Get a C5 or later. My C6 is a blast.
Definitely! I think once I’m done with this car, I’ll be getting a manual. The only manual cars I like are the C7 and the GT350.

@@gameaddiction472 you can daily a manual or automatic. In the real world, absolutely no one cares what transmission you have. Whatever you’re comfortable with and think will bring you the biggest smile.

4 years of daily driving here! biggest problem was the balancer and winter time hahaha.
That’s great! I drove my through the winter a lot too. Obviously not when there snow or ice but drove through cold temps.
😮 I understand exactly what you're talking about I purchased a 2009 C6 convertible Crystal Red metallic tent coat light brown interior I love it for what it is and enjoy it for what it is a lot of people don't really enjoy their car because they're too busy trying to add more horsepower for what?
They’re just chasing a number or want to have the most into their car. I’ll have mods in my car but I’m not trying to be better than the next guy. I’m doing it because I like it. Comparison is the thief of joy. Thanks for watching!

Do you have any noise with the targa top when driving? Found a C6 I'm interested in, but the seller noted there was some wind noise from the targa top when driving, and brushed it off with it being an old car.
I had two vetts, one with the solid paint targa top and the other one being the clear one.
They both made some noise but the clear one made way more noise than the solid one. It was night and day difference. The clear one also tends to crack.
Not that I’ve noticed, but I can say I might be missing it due to my loud exhaust or just from paying music. Is it a rattle, creak, whistle? I’ll have to definitely check to see if I have that this week.

I bought one from carvana... bad trans.... 2 months later still in the shop.... so yeah dont trust dealers...
Dealers are fine. Takes due diligence when buying a car. I had a PPI done when I bought mine. Carvana is hit or miss. I saw a great one for sale on there but it sold before I could sit down and start the paper work.
If it was a red 2010 grand sport convertible.... you lucked out...

@@robertrussell203 oh it must’ve been different. The one I wanted was not a Grand Sport. I’m sorry that this happened to you. Hopefully it gets fixed and you can drive it soon.
