What's the best solar panel or solar blanket system to use to charge one of these while out camping? We aren't out for 2 week long trips so we've seen these as a cool alternative to getting a dual battery system in the car and the fact that this is portable makes us want it even more.
I have been looking at the Redarc, really like the look, mobility and I like the capabilities but the price seems a bit much. Whats your thoughts on price? Is it worth it?
My issue is that I run two utes. So needed something that would be easy to swap over rather then buy two separate duel battery set ups. So it works out for me
@@flyboy8905 Not Australian made and I don't trust them in the heat of Central Queensland on a mine site. The yetti was also missing features I wanted.
I don't disagree but my concern is that I work in Central Queensland and needed something reliable. Don't mind spending the extra when it comes to my daily lunch haha

@@Mr_Cruisin have a look at bluetti, you'll get more bang for your buck. Same price but more ports and a small inverter

Needs a 300w inverter. Reckon the engel series 2 is better. But the handles are awesome.
My only question is, what would I used the 300w inverter for?
I'm happy they didn't include one and made it smaller. 🙂
Can you charge via 50amp vehicle and solar simultaneously or do you have to physically swap inputs ?
At the moment you have to swap but once the base arrives my understanding is that you'll be able to do multiple inputs
Its ridiculous that the charging cable is not secure, have they stopped doing proper R&D these days?
I think you may find this is just a poor choice of charging option by the user. It has a 50A Anderson input intended for in vehicle charging.
Great unit but too expensive at nearly $3000. Bluetti half the price.
