Redarc GoBlock 1 Year review
Переглядів 2,8 тис.Рік тому
This is my 1 year review of the goblock. Been an awesome bit of kit. Comment any questions and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Note: it's a 50amp charger not 40.

How hot 🥵 does the weather have to be for the BMS to stop 🛑 charge? I checked the inside temperature of my car parked in the sun ☀️ on a 38 degrees day and it was 78 inside?

Nice mate. Yeah I have the same one for my Hilux and it wasn't to hard to fit. Just need some sockets with an extension bar. I found that helped.

Yeah it was a bit of a prick but once done, worked well!

Appreciate a non “influencer” review. Was looking at this a year or so ago but no one actually had it to sell in 100Ah version, so I moved on. Looks like it meets or exceeds your expectations. Any thoughts on build quality overall and fittings.

How long would it run your fridge for until going flat??

Hi Bro, I own a MY22 Fortuner, virtually the same as a Hilux under the bonnet. With only x2 fasteners, does the mount rattle or shake when nudged by hand? Is it firmly secured to the body?

Its ridiculous that the charging cable is not secure, have they stopped doing proper R&D these days?

What's the best solar panel or solar blanket system to use to charge one of these while out camping? We aren't out for 2 week long trips so we've seen these as a cool alternative to getting a dual battery system in the car and the fact that this is portable makes us want it even more.

Needs a 300w inverter. Reckon the engel series 2 is better. But the handles are awesome.

Great unit but too expensive at nearly $3000. Bluetti half the price.

I don't disagree but my concern is that I work in Central Queensland and needed something reliable. Don't mind spending the extra when it comes to my daily lunch haha

I have been looking at the Redarc, really like the look, mobility and I like the capabilities but the price seems a bit much. Whats your thoughts on price? Is it worth it?

My issue is that I run two utes. So needed something that would be easy to swap over rather then buy two separate duel battery set ups. So it works out for me

@@Mr_Cruisin have a look at bluetti, you'll get more bang for your buck. Same price but more ports and a small inverter

@@flyboy8905 Not Australian made and I don't trust them in the heat of Central Queensland on a mine site. The yetti was also missing features I wanted.

Can you charge via 50amp vehicle and solar simultaneously or do you have to physically swap inputs ?
