The thing I love about this game that some triple aaa titles don't do as much is taking risk and not holding back because this game got some seriously messed up things especially when it comes to their lore. The miracle is a one scary entity. The art direction in both games are also awsome.

I just started yesterday & already want more blasphemous now lol. The last one they had like 3 expansions and they were beefy too…I hope they drop more.
I'd love to see a sequel or prequel of Demon's Crest (Demon's Blazeon JP) by the Blasphemous devs, it would be incredible with gorgeous pixel art,stages,music and enemies.If only Capcom quit pretending DC didn't have a fan base or people wanting another game.
Btw, you can cheese sor cautiva with the miasma bell magic attack (don't remember the name) just summon it, push it on the pendant, and it cracks it within a few seconds
I wanted to do another playthrough with new True Torment update and was extremely disappointed when i found out that in NG+ nothing from your previous run actually transfers to the new game plus. Like, what's the point of even replaying the game, just for sake of it? Bought the DLC nevertheless, just not sure if i should play Mea Culpa alone or give the game another go to see everything they changed in the free patch.
@John-Alighieri New Game + is, and always has been, when you start a new game from a completed save file and carry over things you earned from that file. Sometimes it's harder, sometimes it isn't, and you don't always carry over everything, but you always carry over _something._ It's the carrying over part that makes it New Game +. Without that, it's just Hard Mode. Lots of games have Hard Modes that unlock upon finishing them, that isn't the issue here. The issue is calling it one thing when it is clearly another.
Is it just me, or does the cutscenes look a bit... off? I can't put my finger on how, but they feel different than the original cutscenes, as if it has a lower quality? Is it done by a different studio?
@@dudeimtellingthetruth i think the og artist for the pixel cutscense got let go because of differences regarding russia situation and so they get a korean animation group to handle it ever sinces Wounds of eventide.
you can block all atacks from brother asterior first fight and can even counter back one of his atacks for great dmg - I just killed him by blocking all of his atacks - it was hilarious and satisfying at the same time
@@chobijas ...do I have to pay for the DLC? And by what I asked before, I mean... if you pass a certain story threshold, can you not activate the DLC and achieve the true ending unless you start a new game?
i just got ending C and sadly there's no new movesets or updates to the final boss, unlike the first game... oh well at least this DLC has been way bigger then Wounds of Eventide, altough there's only 2,5 new bosses, plus the meme minibosses

From what I've observed from the gameplay on UA-cam, it seems like since Crisanta executed the Incarnate Devotion via the Mea Culpa she was brought up to the Canvas of Light and Time (as seen in Ending A of Blasphemous 2) [or at least somewhere that wasn't Eviterno's throne room], and the Penitent One is taking a long-deserved beach outing after all the stuff he's been through. Asterion's sword breaking open to free(?) the corpse of his master seems like a lead-in to another DLC, or at least another story within Cvstodia. Can't wait to see where the Game Kitchen goes with the setting later on.

@@RestfulCube95 for me and my nephew this is the game of our lives and the dlc cut scenes felt like a blow below the belt leaving a bitter trace in my soul 😦 Blasphemous is a project with a claim to be high art and such underdetailed cringe cut scenes are a true desecration of everything I worship about this game. I hope they do something with that because Blasphemous 2 is a worthy piece expect for these garbage scenes.

So basically, doing the DLC let's you ascend the blind one as she deserves, but sacrifices the protagonist's ascension as a results.

It genuinely isn't even NG+. Calling it that is a straight up lie. It's just Hard Mode.
Today they posted that they're working on an update for NG+. I hope they address this issue

They did a shit ton of quality of life updates, gave a unique platforming power up with the sword, and 8 new torments for NG+
