    Colder Weather
    By The Zac Brown Band
(Bryn Powers Mix Chart w/ lyrics)
    Capo 1
    Intro: G D G D G D A
    Verse 1:
    G A D
She'd trade Colorado if he'd take her with him
    G A D
Closes the door before the winter lets the cold in,
    G A Bm A G G/F#
And wonders if her love is strong enough to make him stay,
    Em G
She's answered by the tail lights
    A G D
    Shining through the window pane
    Chorus:
    G D
He said I wanna see you again
    G D
But I'm stuck in colder weather
    G D
    Maybe tomorrow will be better
    A
    Can I call you then
    G D
    She said you're ramblin' man
    G D
    You ain't ever gonna change
    G D
You got a gypsy soul to blame
    A
And you were born for leavin'
    Verse 2:
    G A D
At a truck stop diner just outside of Lincoln,
    G A D
The night is black as the coffee he was drinkin',
    G A Bm A G G/F#
And in the waitress' eyes he sees the same 'ol light a shinin',
    Em G
    And thinks of Colorado
    A G D
And the girl he left behind him
    Chorus:
    G D
He said I wanna see you again
    G D
But I'm stuck in colder weather
    G D
    Maybe tomorrow will be better
    A
    Can I call you then
    G D
    She said you're ramblin' man
    G D
    You ain't ever gonna change
    G D
You got a gypsy soul to blame
    A G
And you were born for leavin' (born for leavin')
    Pre Chorus:
    Em D
    Well it's a winding road
    A Bm
When you're in the lost and found
    G D
    You're a lover I'm a runner
    A
And we go 'round 'n 'round
    G D
And I love you but I leave you
    G D
I don't want you but I need you
    G D A
You know it's you who calls me back here baby
    Solo: G D G D G D A
    Chorus:
    G D
Oh I wanna see you again
    G D
But I'm stuck in colder weather
    G D
    Maybe tomorrow will be better
    A
    Can I call you then
    G D
    Cuz I'm a ramblin' man
    G D
    I ain't ever gonna change
    G D
I gotta gypsy soul to blame
    A G G
And I was born for leavin', born for leavin'
    Verse 3:
    G D
And when I close my eyes I see you
    G D
    No matter where I am
    G D A
I can smell your perfume through these whispering pines
    G D
    I'm with your ghost again
    G D
It's a shame about the weather
    G D
I know soon we'll be together
    A
And I can't wait till then
    G D
    I can't wait till then
    Outro: G D G D G D A D

Love it! In the bridge, try this chord when he starts "When your in the lost and found" Play the first fret of the A string, second fret of the D string, open on the G, 2nd fret on the B and open on the high E. Its exactly the same chord as the second chord in Garth Brooks "Friends In Low Places" It adds nice color to the bridge (and I think it's the actual one he uses) Cheers!

@DaKaneSaw Standard tuning. Yes the capo on the first fret changes the tuning a half step up. The way Zac plays it though is a half step down with different chords, but both ways sound exactly the same. Hope this helps!

Also, this is one way, seems the most popular way on the net. Unfortunately, it's not what Zac is playing. Like I said, he tunes down a half step for his deep voice. The chords for the verse are as follows A to B Barre to E. Then, A to B to C# minor and walk back down to A chord. I hope that makes sense. Look up Colder Weather acoustic unplugged, it's really easy to see what he's playing with no other instruments to mess you up. Great job by the gentleman above, much respect to an alternative way to play the song! Dave the guitar guy

You sound great buddy. I am getting frustrated though..LOL Zac plays his acoustic version with no capo and tuned down a half step. I am desperately trying to find the correct chord he only plays once in the bridge. It's when he sings "when your in the lost and found". If anyone knows this chord, please post!! I have watched his hands over and over, the chord is on the first and second fret but his hands make it difficult to see what his fingers are doing. Thanks! If you find the answer, please write me on UA-cam at Dave the guitar guy. I also have a bunch of lessons, played exactly the way the artist does. I will post Colder Weather as soon as I find that one chord.
